2. Select “RKE OPE COUN1” in “Data Monitor”.
3. Check that the function operates normall y according to the following conditions:

1.CHECK REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER OUTPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace BCM. Refer to BCS-74, "Removal and Installation".
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK REMOTE K EYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER CIRCUIT
1. Disconnect BCM and remote keyless entry receiver connectors.
2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and remote keyless entry receiver harness connector.
3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Select ENGINE SW ILLUMI of BCM (I NTELLGENT KEY) active test item.
3. While operating the test item, check that the push-button ignition switch illumination turns ON/OFF
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Push-button ignition switch illumination circuit is normal.
NO >> Refer to INL-48, "

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Select ENGINE SW ILLUMI of BCM (INTELLIGENT KEY) active test item.
3. While operating the test item, check voltage bet ween push-button ignition switch connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4.
NO >> GO TO 2.
2.CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH ILLUMINATION POWER SUPPLY OPEN CIRCUIT
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect BCM connector and push-button ignition switch connector.
3. Check continuity between BCM connector and push-button ignition switch connector.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Repair or replace the harness or connectors. ON : Push-button ignition switch illumination ON

1. PERFORM SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
1. Turn ignition switch to ON, and wait for 1 second or more.
2. Check “Self Diagnostic Result” of “BCM” using CONSULT.
Is DTC B261A detected?
YES >> Refer to PCS-63, "Diagnosis Procedure".
NO >> Inspection End.

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to PCS-42, "Wiring Diagram".
1. CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL (PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH)
1. Disconnect push-button ignition switch connector.
2. Check voltage between push-button ignition switch connector M25 terminal 8 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> GO TO 4.
2. CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SW ITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL (IPDM E/R)
Check voltage between IPDM E/R connector E47 terminal 81 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to PCS-30, "
Removal and Installation".
3. CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH CIRCUIT (IPDM E/R)
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector E47 and BCM connector M98.
3. Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector E47 terminal 81 and push-button ignition switch connector
M25 terminal 8.

1. CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL (PUSH-BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH)
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect push-button ignition switch connector and IPDM E/R connector E47.
3. Check voltage between push-button ignition switch connector M25 terminal 8 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3.
NO >> GO TO 2.
2. CHECK PUSH-BUTTON IGNI TION SWITCH CIRCUIT (BCM)
1. Disconnect BCM connector M98.
2. Check continuity between BCM connector M98 terminal 76 and push-button ignition switch connector M25 terminal 8.
3. Check continuity between BCM connector M98 terminal 76 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace BCM. Refer to BCS-74, "Removal and Installation".
NO >> Repair or replace harness or connectors.
3. CHECK IGNITION SWITCH OU TPUT SIGNAL (IPDM E/R)
Check voltage between IPDM E/R connector E47 terminal 81 and ground.

1. Press push-button ignition switch under the following condition.
- Brake pedal: Not depressed
2. Release push-button ignition switch and wait 100 seconds or more.
3. Check DTC in “Self Diagnostic Result” of “BCM” using CONSULT.
Is DTC detected?
YES >> Go to SEC-65, "Diagnosis Procedure".
NO >> Inspection End.

1. Disconnect BCM connector and IPDM E/R connector.
2. Check continuity between push-button ignition switch harness connector and BCM harness connector.
3. Check continuity between push-button ignition switch harness connector and ground.
