- If the ~ (USA models) ,1111 (Canada mod

gether with the ABS and ESC indicator
lights, the ABS/ESC regulating function may
have failed. Functions that stabilize the ve

authorized Audi dealer or other qualified
workshop and have the malfunction correct

- If the brake warning/indicator light does
not go out after a few seconds and the park

are driving, the flu id level in the brake fluid
reservoir is too low. If you believe that it is
safe to do so, proceed immediate ly at low
speed to the nearest authorized Audi dealer
o r qualified repair facility and have the
bra ke system inspected.
- Always keep in mind that after severa l brake
applica tions, you will need greater pressure
on the brake pedal to stop your vehicle. Do
not rely on strained brakes to respond with
maximum stopping power in critical situa
tions. You must allow for increased braking distances. The extra distance used up by
fading brakes could lead to an acc ident.

If the vehicle is stationary, or if you are driving at

outside temperature . This is caused by the heat
being radiated from the engine.
The unit of measurement for the temperature
can be set in either °For in °Con the
MMI* or on
the radio control unit. The outside temperature
display automatically shows the unit of measure
ment that has been set. For additional informa

_& WARNING
- Never use the outside temperature display
to determine if a road surface is icy or not.
Keep in mind that road surfaces, especially
bridges and overpasses, could be ice cov
ered and slippery even at an outside tem

- Always remember, even if the "snowflake"
symbol (ice warning) does not appear in the
