You can always find these Owner´s Manualand the Service Plan in the on-
board instructions for your vehicle.
Depending on the equipment, the on-board literature can also include the
Owner´s Manual Infotainment and in some countries also the brochure On the
road .
Owner´s Manual
These Owner´s Manual apply to all body versions of the vehicle and all related
models as well as for all equipment levels .
This Owner's Manual describes all possible equipment versions without iden-
tifying them as special equipment, model variants or market-dependent equip-
ment. Consequently, this vehicle does not contain all of the equipment com-
ponents described in this Owner's Manual.
The level of equipment of your vehicle refers to your purchase contract of the
vehicle. If you have any questions regarding the scope of equipment, please
contact a ŠKODA Partner.
The Pictures in this manual are for illustration purposes only. The illustrations
can differ in minor details from your vehicle; they are only intended to provide
general information.
ŠKODA AUTO a.s. pursues a policy of constant further development of all vehi-
cles. Each time, therefore, any changes to the vehicle occur, the scope of deliv-
ery may change in terms of its equipment and technology. The information lis-
ted in this Manual corresponds to the information available at the time of go-
ing to press.
Therefore legal claims cannot be made based on the technical data, illustra-
tions and information contained in this Owner's Manual.
We recommend that web pages that are referred to in this Owner's Manual are
displayed using the classic view. Not all necessary information may be dis-
played correctly if the mobile view is chosen.
Service schedule
The service plan includes the documentation of the vehicle handover informa-
tion, warranty and service events.
Infotainment Owner's Manual
The Infotainment manual contains a description of the Infotainment service
and possibly also some functions and vehicle systems.Move brochure
The On-the-road brochure contains the importer's customer service number
and the service number in the individual countries as well as the emergency
numbers.

Messages before reaching the scheduled service date
Before the next service date has been reached, the symbol
as well as a mes-
sage about the mileage or days until the next service event appears in the dis-
play after switching on the ignition.

Resetting the service interval display
We recommend that the display be reset by a specialist garage.
We recommend that you do not reset the service interval display yourself. In-
correctly setting the service interval display could cause problems to the vehi-
cle.
Variable service interval
For vehicles with variable service intervals, after resetting the oil change serv-
ice display in a specialist garage, the values of the new service interval are dis-
played, which are based on the previous operating conditions of the vehicle.
These values are then continuously matched according to the actual operating
conditions of the vehicle.

when making any modifications, repairs or technical changes to your vehicle.
Compliance with these guidelines and instructions is in the interest of the
roadworthiness and technical condition of your vehicle. The vehicle will comply
with road traffic regulations following the modifications, repairs and technical
changes.

parts, or before carrying out any modifications, repairs or technical alterations
to your vehicle.
WARNING■ Works on your vehicle, which have been carried out unprofessionally, can
cause operational faults – risk of accident!■
Interference on the electronic components and their software can lead to
operational faults. This interference can also impair not directly affected
systems because of the networking of the electronic components. The op-
erational safety of the vehicle may be at significant risk and parts may suf-
fer increased wear.
For the sake of the environmentTechnical documents regarding changes carried out on the vehicle must be
kept by the vehicle user, in order to be handed over to the recyclers later. This
ensures that vehicle recycling is in accordance with environmental regulations.

■ We recommend only having these modifications, repairs and technical
changes performed by a specialist garage.■
Any damage caused by technical alterations made without the approval of
the manufacturer is excluded from the » Service schedule warranty.

The ŠKODA Partner cannot assume any liability for products which have not
been approved by ŠKODA AUTO a.s. even though these may be products with a
type approval or have been approved by a nationally recognised testing labo-
ratory.

Parts which have been expressly approved for use on your vehicle. Reliability,
safety and suitability for your vehicle are guaranteed with these.

If you would like you operate your vehicle in countries other than its intended
weather conditions, you should contact a ŠKODA Partner.
They will advise you on certain precautions that should be taken to ensure the
full functioning of the vehicle as well as to prevent damage.
For example coolant and battery replacement or similar.

Many countries have legislation requiring the operational reliability and road
worthiness and/or exhaust gas properties of a vehicle to be tested at specific
intervals. These tests can be carried out by workshops or testing stations that
have been legally authorised for this purpose.
