The duration of lighting varies, depending on the context:
-
when the ignition is of
f, approximately ten minutes,
-
in energy economy mode, approximately thirty seconds,
-
when the engine is running, no limit.
STORAGE BOX
This has areas for storing a box of spare bulbs, a first aid kit, the temporary puncture repair kit, a warning triangle, the removable ball
of the towbar system...
BOOT LAMPS
Your vehicle is fitted with two boot lamps; one in the right-hand boot side trim and a second in the centre under the rear shelf.
They come on automatically when the boot is opened and switch of f
automatically when the boot is closed.
They cannot be deactivated manually.
A second warning triangle can be stored in the boot lid trim.
For access to it:
F raise
the
floor
using
the
strap,
F
secure it in the vertical position behind the stops, located on
the sides of the boot.

dAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS
Daytime lighting, compulsory in certain countries, which comes on
automatically when the engine is started providing better visibility of \
the
vehicle by other road users.
In countries in which it is imposed by regulations:
-
by default, this function is activated and cannot be deactivated,
-
the dipped beam headlamps come on, associated with the
sidelamps and the number plate lamps.
For other countries where the vehicle is sold, this function is assured \
by
specific lamps.
The
lighting control stalk should be in position
"0"
or "AUTO".
This function can be activated or deactivated via the vehicle
configuration
menu.
Deactivation of the daytime running lamps is effective after
operation of the lighting control stalk or after the next engine
start; activation is immediate.
LEd LAMPS
They come on when the engine is started.
Depending on the destination country, they are used for:
-
daytime running lamps* in day mode and sidelamps in night mode
(they are brighter when daytime running lamps),
or
-
sidelamps in day and night mode.
Where
LED lamps are fitted, the filament bulbs for the daytime running
lamps / sidelamps in the front lamp units are not used.

To avoid dazzling other road users, the height of the halogen bulb
headlamps must be adjusted according to the load in the vehicle.

Driver + maximum authorised loads. In order to avoid causing a nuisance to other road users, this system
corrects the height of the xenon headlamp beams automatically and
when stationary
, in relation to the load in the vehicle.
If a malfunction occurs, this warning lamp is displayed on the
instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal and a
message in the screen.
The system then places your headlamps in the lowest position.
Initial setting is position "0". Do not touch the xenon headlamp bulbs.

Travelling abroad
If using your vehicle in a country that drives on the other side of
the road, the headlamps must be adjusted to avoid dazzling on-
coming drivers.

CHANGING A BULB
The headlamps are fitted with polycarbonate glass with a protective coating:
F
do not clean them using a dry or abrasive cloth, nor with
a detergent or solvent product,
F
use a sponge and soapy water or a pH neutral product,
F
when using a high pressure washer on persistent marks, do
not keep the lance directed towards the lamps or their edges
for too long, so as not to damage their protective coating and
seals.
FRONT LAMPS
Model with halogen headlamps

Changing a bulb should only be done after the headlamp has been
switched off for several minutes (risk of serious burns).

not
touch
the
bulb
directly
with
your
fingers,
use
a
lint-free
cloth.
It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet (UV) type bulbs to avoid\
damaging the headlamp.
Always replace a failed bulb with a new bulb with the same type
and
specification.

Model with xenon and directional headlamps
Risk of electrocution
xenon bulbs (D1S) must be replaced by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop.
Changing direction indicator bulbs
F Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turn and extract it.
F
Pull the bulb out and change it.
T
o refit, carry out these operations in reverse order.
Amber or silver coloured bulbs, such as the direction indicators,
must
be replaced with bulbs of identical specifications and colour.
When
refitting, close the protective cover carefully to assure the
sealing of the headlamp.
