.Although you can continue driving
with a punctured run-flat tire, re-
member that vehicle handling sta-
bility is reduced, which could lead to
an accident and personal injury.
Also, driving a long distance at high
speeds may damage the tires.
. Do not drive at speeds above 50
MPH (80 km/h) and do not drive
more than 50 miles (80 km) with a
punctured run-flat tire. The actual
distance the vehicle can be driven
on a flat tire depends on outside
temperature, vehicle load, road con-
ditions and other factors.
. If you detect any unusual sounds or
vibrations while driving with a punc-
tured run-flat tire, pull off the road
to a safe location and stop the
vehicle as soon as possible. The tire
may be seriously damaged and
need to be replaced.
. When a wheel is replaced, the TPMS
will not function and the low tire
pressure warning light will flash for
approximately 1 minute. The light
will remain on after the 1 minute.
Contact a GT-R certified NISSAN dealer as soon as possible for tire
replacement and/or system reset-
ting.
. Replacing tires with those not ori-
ginally specified by NISSAN could
affect the proper operation of the
TPMS.
CAUTION
.The TPMS is not a substitute for the
regular tire pressure check. Be sure
to check the tire pressure regularly.
. Be sure to install the specified size
of tires on the four wheels.
NOTE:
. If the vehicle is being driven at speeds
of less than 16 MPH (25 km/h) , the
TPMS may not operate correctly.
. The tires of this vehicle are filled with
nitrogen gas. When the tire pressure is
low, fill the tires with nitrogen gas.
Contact a GT-R certified NISSAN dealer
for information on filling the tires with
nitrogen gas.
Master warning light
When the ignition switch is in the ON position,
the master warning light ill�fminates if any of the
warning displays appear on the �behicle informa-
tion display. (
“Warning display” page 2-

Seat belt warning light and
chime
The light and chime remind yo�f to fasten seat
belts. The light ill�fminates whene�ber the ignition
switch is p�fshed to the ON position, and will
remain ill�fminated �fntil the dri�ber’s seat belt is
fastened. At the same time, the chime will so�fnd
for abo�ft 6 seconds �fnless the dri�ber’s seat belt
is sec�frely fastened.
The seat belt warning light for the front
passenger will ill�fminate if the seat belt is not
fastened when the front passenger’s seat is
occ�fpied. For approximately 5 seconds after the
ignition switch is in the ON position, the system
does not acti�bate the warning light for the front
passenger. (

Supplemental air bag warning
light
After p�fshing the ignition switch to the ON
position, the s�fpplemental air bag warning light
will ill�fminate for abo�ft 7 seconds and then t�frn

Parking brake reminder chime
A chime will sound if the vehicle speed is above
�f MPH �b7 km/h) with the parking brake applied.
Stop the vehicle and release the parking brake.
Reverse warning chime
The chime will sound inside the vehicle if any of
the following conditions occurs.
.The driver’s door is opened while the shift
lever is in the
&Rposition and the ignition
switch is in the ON position.
. The shift lever is in the
&Rposition and 5
minutes have passed while the ignition
switch is in the ON position.
Be sure to move the shift lever out of the
&R
position after driving in reverse.
Brake pad wear warning
The disc brake pads have audible wear warn-
ings. When a brake pad requires replacement, it
will make a high pitched scraping sound when
the vehicle is in motion. This scraping sound will
first occur only when the brake pedal is
depressed. After the wear of the brake pad is
increased, the sound will be heard all the time
even if the brake pedal is not depressed. Have
the brakes checked as soon as possible if the
warning sound is heard.
WARNING
When the warning light illuminates or
blinks and a warning is displayed,
promptly take the appropriate action.
Ignoring the warning may result in malfunctions and accidents.
When the items mentioned below are detected
the master warning light

SHIFT LEVER POSITION WARNING
This will appear if the system cannot detect the
shift lever position�f
Stop the vehicle in a safe location�f Depress the
bra�be pedal and move this shift lever to another
position then move the lever bac�b to the desired
position�f If the warning is still displayed after the
above operation is performed, have the system
chec�bed by a GT-R certified NISSAN dealer�f

REVERSE WARNING
This will appear (and a chime will sound) if the
shift lever is in the&Rposition for more than 5
minutes, or when the driver’s door is opened
while the shift lever is in the
&Rposition�f
TRANSMISSION SYSTEM WARN-
ING
This will appear if a transmission system
malfunction occurs�f (“Transmission warn-
ing light” page 2-30)

NOTE:
.The low fuel warning will appear when
the amount of fuel remaining in the
tank decreases to approximately 3 US
gallons (12 liters) .
. The timing of the low fuel warning
display may change depending on
braking, turning, acceleration, or going
up or down hills.
. If the vehicle is not refueled after the
low fuel warning appears, the display
will change to “
”. This change
timing may become earlier depending
on the driving conditions. This does not
indicate that there is a malfunction.
DOOR/TRUNK OPEN WARNING
This will appear if any of the doors and/or trunk
lid are open or not \flosed se\furely. The vehi\fle
i\fon indi\fates whi\fh door or the trunk lid is
open.
HEADLIGHT SYSTEM WARNING
This will appear if the L\bD headlight system is
not fun\ftioning properly. Have the system
\fhe\fked by a GT-R \fertified NISSAN dealer.

These displays appear when an appropriate
operation is required in starting or stopping the
engine.
ENGINE START OPERATION INDI-
CATOR
This indi\fator appears when the shift lever is in
the&Pposition.
This indi\fator means that the engine will start \by
pushing the ignition swit\fh with the \brake pedal
depressed.
SHIFT “P” WARNING
This warning appears and an inside warning
\fhime sounds when the ignition swit\fh is
pushed to stop the engine with the shift lever
in any position ex\fept the
&Pposition.
If this warning appears, move the shift lever to
the
&Pposition. This warning will also turn off
when pushing the ignition swit\fh to the ON
position.

OPERATION DISPLAYS

USING THE WIPERS
Push the lever down to operate the wiper at the
following speed:
*1\fNT (\fnter\bittent) — inter\bittent operation can
be adjusted by turning the knob toward*A(Slower) or*B(Faster) .
*2Low — continuous low speed operation
*3High — continuous high speed operation
Push the lever up*4to have one sweep
operation of the wiper. NOTE:
.
In the MIST position, the wipers oper-
ate while the lever is lifted up. When
the lever is released, it automatically
returns to the OFF position and the
wipers stop.
. When the speed sensing wiper interval
function is turned on, the intermittent
operation speed varies in accordance
with the vehicle speed. (For example,
when the vehicle speed is high, the
intermittent operation speed will be
faster.) To turn this function on and
off, see the separate Multi Function
Display Owner’s Manual.
. If the wiper operation is interrupted by
snow or ice, the wiper may stop moving
to protect its motor. If this occurs, turn
the wiper switch to the OFF position
and remove the snow or ice on and
around the wiper arms. In approxi-
mately 1 minute, turn the switch on
again to operate the wiper.
USING THE WASHER
Pull the lever toward you to operate the washer.
Then the wiper will also operate several ti\bes.
NOTE:
When the level of washer fluid is low, a
warning display appears on the vehicle
information display. (
“Low washer
fluid warning” page 2-42)

NOTE:
The lights will also turn off after a period of
time when the lights remain illuminated
after the ignition switch has been pushed
to the OFF or LOCK position to prevent the
battery from becoming discharged.
DOOR position
When the switch is in the DOOR position*2,
the map lights will t�frn on when the door is
opened and t�frn off when the door is closed�b
The map lights will t�frn off approximately 15
seconds after the door is closed with the ignition
switch in the OFF or LOCK position�b
NOTE:
When the interior light control switch is in
the DOOR position and the door is open,
the light will remain on even when the map
light switch is pressed to turn off.
Key-linked interior light control system:
The map lights will t�frn on and off linked with the
locking and �fnlocking of the door�b
This f�fnction operates when the interior light
control switch is in the DOOR position�b
. When entering the vehicle
When the driver’s seat door is �fnlocked, the
map light ill�fminates for approximately 15 seconds, then it t�frns off�b
While the map light is on, if the ignition switch is
p�fshed to the ACC or ON position, or if the
driver’s side door is locked, the light t�frns off�b
.
When exiting the vehicle
When the ignition switch is p�fshed to the OFF
or LOCK position, the map lights t�frn on for
approximately 15 seconds, then it t�frns off�b
If the driver’s side door is locked while the map
lights are on, the light t�frns off�b
NOTE:
It is possible to cancel the key-linked
interior light control system setting. See
the separate Multi Function Display Own-
er’s Manual.
OFF position
When the switch is in the OFF position*3, the
map lights will not ill�fminate, regardless of any
condition�b
There is an ill�fminated vanity mirror on the
reverse side of the s�fn visor�b
