Gear Shift Indicator (if equipped)
The Gear Shift Indicator display is a guide to help the driver achieve
improved fuel economy and reduced exhaust emissions within limits
of engine performance.

Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank.
Clock
Displays the time.
Engine coolant temperature gauge
Displays the engine coolant temperature.
Odometer/trip meter and trip meter reset button
Switches between odometer and trip meter displays. Pushing and hold-
ing the button will reset the trip meter when the trip meter is being dis-

• The function can be reset by
pressing the “DISP.” button or

The ratio of the current accelera-
tion to the Zone of Eco driving is

mum distance that can be driven
with the quantity of fuel remain-
ing. 
• This distance is computed
based on your average fuel
consumption. As a result, the
actual distance that can be
driven may differ from that dis-
played. 
• When only a small amount of
fuel is added to the tank, the
display may not be updated.
When refueling, turn the
“ENGINE START STOP”
switch off (vehicles with smart
entry & start system) or the
engine switch to the “LOCK”
position (vehicles without
smart entry & start system). 
If the vehicle is refueled with-
out turning the “ENGINE
START STOP” switch off or the
engine switch to the “LOCK”
position, the display may not

Cargo and luggage
CAUTION
Things that must not be carried in the trunk/luggage compartment
The following things may cause a fire if loaded in the trunk/luggage compart-
ment.
Receptacles containing gasoline
Aerosol cans
Take notice of the following information about storage precautions,
cargo capacity and load.
Stow cargo and luggage in the trunk/luggage compartment
whenever possible.
Be sure all items are secured in place.
Be careful to keep the vehicle level. Placing the weight as far for-
ward as possible helps maintain vehicle balance.
For better fuel economy, do not carry unnecessary weight.
