When the vehicle is parked with the operation mode in any mode other than OFF, if you close the door after opening any of the doors and taking the F.A.S.T.-key out of the vehicle, a warning is issued until the F.A.S.T.-key is detected in the vehicle.
•The F.A.S.T.-key take-out moni- toring system does
not function if
the F.A.S.T.-key is removed through a window without open- ing a door.This setting can be changed. Contact an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer for details. •The warning may display even if the F.A.S.T.-key is in the operating range for starting the engine and changing the operation mode. The surrounding environment or elec- tromagnetic waves may make it impossible to verify the ID codes of the F.A.S.T.-key and vehicle.

The inside liftgate release is designed to pro- vide a way to open the li
ftgate if the battery is
dead or disconnected. The liftgate release lever (see illustration) is mounted on the liftgate. You and your family should familiarize your- selves with the location and operation of the liftgate release lever.
CAUTION The auto reverse mechanism will not operate when the power liftgate
is closed manually.
Therefore be especially careful not to trap a hand or finger. Do not fully close the power liftgate with your hand still on the pow
er liftgate grip.
Doing so could trap and injure your hand orarm.

2. If the tire pressure monitoring system warning light remain
s illuminated after
you have been driving for about 20 min- utes after you adjust the tire inflation pres- sure, one or more of the tires may have apuncture. Inspect the ti
re and if it has a
puncture, have it re
paired by an autho-
rized Mitsubishi Motors dealer as soon aspossible.
The tire pressure monitoring system may not work normally in the following circum- stances:  A wireless facility
or device using the
same frequency is near the vehicle.  Snow or ice is stuck inside the fenders and/or on the wheels. The tire inflation pressure sensor’s battery is dead.  Wheels other than Mitsubishi genuine wheels are being used.  Wheels that are not fitted with tire infla- tion pressure sensors are being used. Wheels whose ID codes are not memo- rized by the vehicle are used.  Compact spare tire is fitted as a road wheel.
 A window tint that affects the radio wave signals is installed.

their ID codes must be
programmed into the tire pressure monitoringsystem. Have tire and
wheel replacement per-
