Rear wiper
If a significant accumulation of snow or ice is present, or when using a bicycle carrier on the boot, deactivate theautomatic rear wiper via the instrumentpanel screen configuration menu. Rear wiper selection rin

Reverse gear
When reverse gear is engaged, the rear wiper will come into operation if the windscreen wipers are operating.

Pull the windscreen wiper stalk towards you. The windscreen wash then the
windscreen wipers operate for a fixed period.
The headlamp washers only operate when the
dipped beam headlamps are on .

Screenwash/headlamp wash level low
In the case of vehicles fittedwith headlamp washers,
when the fluid reservoir low level is reached this warning lamp comes on in the
instrument panel, accompanied by an audible signal
and a message in the instrument panel screen.
The warning lamp comes on when the ignition isswitched on, or every time the stalk is operated, until
the reservoir is refilled.
Next time you stop, refill the screenwash / headlamp
wash reservoir.

Practical information

The headlamps are fitted with
polycarbonate glass with a protectivecoating:)do not clean them using a dry or abrasive cloth, nor with a detergent or solvent product,)
use a sponge and soapy water or apH neutral product,)
when using a high pressure washer on persistent marks, do not keep the lance directed towards thelamps or their edges for too long, so as not to damage their protectivecoating and seals. Changing a bulb should only be done after the headlamp has been switchedoff for a few minutes (risk of serious burns).)
Do not touch the bulb directly with your fingers, use a lint-free cloth. It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet (UV) type bulbs to avoiddamaging the headlamp. Always replace a failed bulb with a
new bulb with the same type andspecification.
Risk of electrocution
Xenon bulbs (D1S-35W) must bereplaced by a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.









Dipped and main beamheadlamps (xenon model)

D1S xenon bulbs must be changedby a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifiedworkshop, as there is a risk of electrocution.
It is recommended that the D1S bulbsare changed at the same time when oneof them fails.
Direction indicators (Xenonmodel)

Daytime running lamps

For the replacement of these light-emitting diode (LED) lamps, contacta PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.

Checks
Coolant level
The coolant level should be close
to the "MAX" mark but should never exceed it.
In addition, as the cooling system is pressurised,
wait at least one hour a
fter switching off theengine before carrying out any work.
To avoid any risk of scalding, unscrew the cap
b
y two turns to allow the pressure to drop. When
the pressure has dropped, remove the cap and
top up t
he level.
Changing the coolant
The coolant does not have to be changed.
Fluid specifi cation
The coolant must conform to the
manufacturer's recommendations.

For optimum cleaning and to avoid freezing,
this fluid must not be topped up with or
replaced with plain water.
Screenwash and headlamp
wash fluid
In the case of vehicles fitted with headlamp washers, the low fluid levelis indicated by an audible signal and a message in the instrument panel screen. When the engine is warm, the temperature of
the coolant is regulated by the fan. This can
operate with the ignition off.
On vehicles which are fitted with a par ticle
emission filter, the fan may operate after the vehicle has been switched off, even if the engine is cold.
Top up the reser voir when you next stop the
vehicle.
