Until sufficient fuel is added, this warning lamp will
come on every time the ignition is switched on,
accompanied by an audible signal and a message. This audible signal and message are repeated with
increasing frequency as the drops towards "0".
Fuel tank capacity: approximately 57 litres (petrol) or 55 litres (Diesel).
Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel as
this could damage the emission control and injectionsystems.

Label on door panel
Before leaving the vehicle, check thatparking brake is applied: the indicator lamps in the instrument panel andthe control lever must be on fixed, not flashing.
If the parking brake is not applied, there is an audible signal and a message isdisplayed on opening the driver's door.
Never leave a child alone inside thevehicle with the ignition on, as theycould release the parking brake.
When towing, parking on a steepslope, or if your vehicle is heavilyladen, turn the wheels towards the kerb and engage a gear (with a manual or electronic gearbox) or place the gear selector in position P
with an automaticgearbox). For towing, you vehicle is approved for parking on slopes of up to 12%.
Manual operation
Application of of the parking brake
is confirmed by illumination of the
brake indicator lamp and the Pindicator lamp in the control lever,
accompanied by the display of the
message "Parking brake applied".
Manual release
With the ignition on or the engine running, to
release the parking brake: )press the brake pedal, )while maintaining pressure on the brakepedal, briefly push the control lever.
The complete release o
f the parking brake is confirmed by the brake indicator lamp and thePindicator lamp in the control lever going off,
accompanied by the display of the message
"Parking brake released".
If you push the control lever withoutpressing the brake pedal, the parkingbrake will not be released and a message is displayed.
Manual application
With the vehicle stationary: briefly pull the control lever.
Confirmation of the instruction is signaled by
flashing of the indicator lamp in the control
lever.

Driving
The vehicle being followed may not be detected
in cer tain conditions such as, for example:
- when turnin
g,
- when changing lane,
- when the vehicle in front is out of the range
of the sensor (maximum range: around
100 m).
Operating limits
In the event of a fault with the system,
this warning lamp is displayed
accompanied by a message.
Operating fault
Have the system checked by a CITROËN
dealer or a qualified workshop.
At the first use of the system after repair, a message may be displayedindicating that the system is initialising. The system is not available while this is in progress. As soon as the message disappears the system is operationalagain. If the message does notdisappear, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
The operation of the radar, located in the front bumper, may be disturbed by accumulations of grime (dust, mud...) or in certain weather conditions (snow, ice...).
The message "SYSTEM INACTIVE:Visibility reduced" is displayed to signal that the system has been put intostandby.
Clean the front bumper regularly.

Driving
On sharp acceleration, as when descending a steep hill, the speedlimiter will not be able to prevent thevehicle from exceeding the programmedspeed.
The limiter is temporarily deactivated and the displayed programmed speed flashes. An audible signal accompanies the flashing of the programmed speed when exceeding the speed is not due to an action by the driver.
The use of mats not approved by CITROËN may interfere with theoperation of the speed limiter.
To a v o i d a ny risk of jamming of the pedals:
- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly,
- do not fit one mat on top of another.
Flashin
g of the dashes indicates a fault with the
speed limiter.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.

As soon as the vehicle's speed returns to the programmed value, the limiter operates again:
the display of the programmed speed becomes steady again.

Active cruise control
This systems allows, in addition to maintainingyour vehicle's speed at a value that you have defined, the inter-vehicle time you have
selected between your vehicle the the one ahead to be maintained (2 seconds by default,
on activating the function).
Principles of operation
Using a radar with a range of about 100 metres, located at the front of the vehicle, this system
detects a vehicle running in front of your
vehicle.
It automatically adapts the speed of the vehicle
to that of the vehicle in front.
If the vehicle in front is running more slowly,
the system progressively reduces the speed of your vehicle using just engine braking (as if thedriver had pressed the "- " button).
If your vehicle is too close to or approaching tooquickly the vehicle in front, the cruise control
is automatically deactivated. The driver is then
aler ted by an audible signal, accompanied by a message.
If the vehicle in front accelerates or changeslane, the active cruise control progressively
accelerates your vehicle to return to the
programmed speed.
If the driver operates a direction indicator to
the left (left hand drive) or the right (right hand
drive), to over take a slower vehicle, the active cruise control allows your vehicle to temporarily
approach the vehicle in front to assist the
over takin
g manoeuvre, though never exceeding
the programmed speed.
The active cruise control operates byday and at night, in fog or in moderate rainfall.
The system does not act on the brakingsystem, but works only with engine braking.
The regulation range is limited: there willno longer be any adjustment of speed if the difference between the programmed speedsetting and the speed of the vehicle in front becomes too high (18 mph (30 km/h).
The activation of this system deactivates the function of inter-vehicle time.
If the difference between the programmed speed setting and the speed of the vehicle in front is toogreat, the speed cannot be adjusted: the cruise control is automatically
deactivated.

Reversing camera
Clean the reversing camera regularly using a soft, dry cloth.
The reversing camera is activated automatically
when reverse gear is engaged.
Depending on version, the image is displayed in
the touch screen tablet or the instrument panel.
The space between the blue lines represents
the width of your vehicle except for the door
mirrors.
The blue lines represent the general direction of the vehicle.
The red lines represent a distance of about
30 cm beyond the edge of your vehicle's
rear bumper. The audible signal becomes continuous from this limit.
The green lines represent distances of about 1
and 2 metres beyond the edge of your vehicle's
rear bumper.
The turquoise blue curves represent the
maximum turning circle.
The reversing camera cannot in any circumstances be a substitute for thevigilance and responsibility of the driver.
Opening the tailgate causes the display to disappear.
The reversing camera function may be completed with parking sensors.
High pressure jet washingWhen washing your vehicle, do not direct the lance within 30 cm of thecamera lens.

Visibility
Operation of the rear foglamps is inhibited with the tailgate open. Opening the boot when these lamps are on causes them and their indicator lamp in the instrument panel to go off. They do not come back onautomatically when the boot is closed: they must be switched on again using the control stalk.
In good or rainy weather, by both day and night, the front foglamps and therear foglamps are prohibited. In thesesituations, the power of their beams may dazzle other drivers. They should only be used in fog or falling snow.In these weather conditions, you shouldswitch on the foglamps and dippedbeam headlamps manually, as thesunshine sensor may detect sufficient light.Do not forget to switch off the front andrear foglamps when they are no longer necessary.
Switching off the lightingwhen switching off the ignition
When the ignition is switched off, all of thelamps switch off immediately, except for thedipped beam headlamps if automatic guide-me-home lighting is activated.
Switching on the lightingwhen switching on the ignition
To reactivate the lighting control stalk, turn the ring A
to position A"0"- lighting off, thento the position of your choice.
If the lighting is switched on manually after switching off the ignition, there is an audiblesignal when a front door is opened to warnthe driver that they have forgotten to switch
off the vehicle's lighting, with the ignition off.
They switch off automatically after a periodwhich depends on the state of charge of thebattery (entry to energy economy mode).
