Reinitialisation
Deactivating the rear window and door controls
)For the safety of your children, pressswitch 5to prevent operation of the rear windows irrespective of their position.
With the indicator lamp on, the rear controls aredeactivated.
With the indicator lamp off, the rear controls are
activated.
When the
function is activated,
this warning lamp lights up on the
instrument panel for a few seconds.
This control also deactivates the interior rear door controls (see "Child safety - Electric child lock" section).
In the event of contact during operationof the windows, you must reverse themovement of the window. To do this, pressthe switch concerned.
When the driver operates the passenger
electric window switches, they must ensure that no one is preventing correct closing of the windows.
The driver must ensure that the passengers use the electric windows correctly.
Be aware of children when operating thewindows.
Safety anti-pinch
The one-touch electric windows are fitted with
a safety anti-pinch function.
When the window rises and meets an obstacle, it stops and partially lowers again.
In the event of unwanted opening of the window on closing (for example in the presence of frost): )
press the switch until it openscompletely, )
then pull it immediately until itcloses, )
continue to hold the switch for approximately one second after thewindow has closed.
The safety anti-pinch function is not active during these operations.
In the event of a malfunction you must reinitialise
the o
peration of the electric windows: ) release the switch and pull it again until the
window closes completely, ) hold the switch for approximately onesecond after closing,
)
press the switch to lower the window
automatically.
The safety anti-pinch function is not active
during these operations. Always remove the key from the ignition when
leaving the vehicle, even for a shor t time.

Lighting controls System for selection and control of the various front and rear lamps providing the vehicle's lighting.
Main lighting
The various front and rear lamps of the vehicleare designed to adapt the driver's visibility progressively according to climatic conditions:
- sidelamps, to be seen,
- dipped beam headlamps to see without
dazzlin
g other drivers,
- main beam headlamps to see clearly when
the road is clear.
Additional lighting
Other lamps are installed to fulfil therequirements of par ticular conditions of
visibility:
- a rear foglamp to be seen from afar,
- front foglamps for even better forward
vision.
Programming
Various automatic lighting control modes are also available according to the following
options:

guide-me-home lighting,
- automatic illumination of headlamps.

Foglamp selection ring.
The foglamps operate with the dipped and main
beam headlamps. When the lighting is switched off automatically (with AUTO model) or when the dipped
headlamps are switched off manually, thefoglamps and sidelamps will remain on.
) Turn the ring rear wards to switch off
the foglamps, the sidelamps will then switch off.
In good or rainy weather, by both dayand night, the front foglamps and the rear foglamp are prohibited. In thesesituations, the power of their beamsmay dazzle other drivers.
Do not forget to switch off the front foglamps and the rear foglamp whenthey are no longer necessary.

lighting
The temporary illumination of the dipped beam
headlamps after the vehicle's ignition has been switched off makes the driver's exit easier when
the light is poor.
Switching on
)
With the ignition off, "flash" the headlamps using the lighting stalk. )
A fur ther "headlamp flash" switches thefunction off.
Switching off
The manual guide-me-home lighting switches
off automatically after a set time.
Lighting on audible warning
When the ignition is switched off, allof the lamps switch off automatically, unless guide-me-home lighting isactivated.
If the lighting is switched on manually after switching off the ignition, there is an audible signal when a front door is opened to warn the driver that theyhave forgotten to switch off the vehicle'slighting, with the ignition off.
In some weather conditions (e.g. low temperature or humidity), the presence of misting on the internal sur face of theglass of the headlamps and rear lampsis normal; it disappears after the lamps have been on for a few minutes.

LED lamps
On star ting the vehicle, in daylight the LED
lamps come on automatically, if the lighting stalk is in position "0"
or "AUTO"
.
If the sidelamps and headlamps are switched
on manually or automatically, the LED lamps
switch off.
Programming
For countries where exterior lighting by day is
not a legal requirement, you can activate or
deactivate the function via the multifunction
screen configuration menu.
In countries where daytime lampsare a legal requirement:
- this function is activated by default;it cannot be deactivated,
- in daylight, the sidelamps andnumber plate lamps also come on,
- If the sidelamps or headlamps are switched on manually or automatically, the LED lampsswitch off. In these countries, for versionsnot fitted with LED lamps, it is the dipped beam headlamps that come on automatically on star ting the vehicle
.
Allowing the signature of the vehicle to be identified, this daytime external lighting comprises two sets of six light emitting diodes (LEDs), located below each front foglamp.

The cur ved shape of the rear screen results in
a smaller wiping zone.
If a significant accumulation of snow or ice is present, or when using a tailgate bicycle carrier, deactivate the automatic rear wiper via the multifunction screenconfiguration menu.

- in energy economy mode,approximately thirty seconds,
- with the engine running, unlimited.

This comes on automatically when the boot is
opened and goes off automatically when the boot is closed.
Torch
This is a removable lamp, fitted in the side of
the boot, which can be used to illuminate the boot or as a torch.
Boot lamp
Use
)Extract the torch from its location by pullingit from the front. )Press the switch, located on the back, to switch the torch on or off. )Unfold the suppor t, located on the back, toset down and raise the torch; for example,
when changing a wheel.
Storing
)Put the torch back in place in its location starting with the rear.
If you have forgotten to switch off the torch,
this switches it off automatically.
It the torch is not engaged correctly, it may notcharge and may not come on when the boot is
opened.
Operation
This torch operates with NiMH typerechargeable batteries.
It has a batter
y life of approximately 45 minutes
and charges while you are driving.
The lighting time varies according to the circumstances:
- when the ignition is off, approximately ten minutes,
- in energy economy mode,approximately thirty seconds,
- when the engine is running, no limit.
Observe the polarities when fitting the batteries. Never replace the rechargeablebatteries with single-use batteries.
