Light bulbs
You may replace the following bulbs by yourself. The difficulty level
of replacement varies depending on the bulb. As there is a danger
that components may be damaged, we recommend that replacement
is carried out by any authorized Toyota dealer or repairer, or another
duly qualified and equipped professional.
Preparing for light bulb replacement
Check the wattage of the light bulb to be replaced. (P. 456)

Push the tab in and lift the lid off.

wise.
Unplug the connector while
depressing the lock release.
When installing, reverse the steps listed.
Front fog lights (if equipped)
Remove the front spats bolts.

Open the back door and remove
the cover.
Use a flathead screwdriver which
is wrapped with a cloth.
Turn the bulb bases counter-
clockwise.

Remove the light bulb.

When installing, reverse the steps listed.

Disengage the claws.
Use a flathead screwdriver which
is wrapped with a cloth.
Remove the license plate light.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Remove the light bulb.

Replacing the following bulbs
If any of the lights listed below has burned out, have it replaced by
any authorized Toyota dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified
and equipped professional.
Side turn signal lights
High mounted stoplight
When replacing the headlights
When installing a cover.
Right side headlight: Be sure to install the washer inlet properly.
Left side headlight: Be sure to install the fuse cover properly.
Condensation build-up on the inside of the lens
Temporary condensation build-up on the inside of the headlight lens does
not indicate a malfunction. Contact any authorized Toyota dealer or repairer,
or another duly qualified and equipped professional for more information in
the following situations:
Large drops of water are built up on the inside of the lens.
Water has built up inside the headlight.
Fix the harness using the projection point
