! Always guide the roller sunblind by hand.
Do not let it snap back suddenly as this
would damage the automatic roller mech-
anism.
! Do not drive the vehicle with the roller
sunblind hooke dinand the sid ewindows
opened simultaneously. The roller sunblind
can jump out of the retainers and spring
back suddenly when drivin gathigh speeds,
e.g. when drivin gonthe motorway. This
could damage the inertia reel .Therefore,
either close the side window or retract the
roller sunblind before driving at high
speeds. X
To extend: pull the roller sunblind out by
tab :and hook it ont oretainers ;at the

The holder under the ashtray is not heat
resistant. Before placing lit cigarettes in the
ashtray, make sure that the ashtray is prop-
erly engaged. Othe rwise, the holder could
be damaged. X
To open: slide cover :to its foremost
position.
X Fold cover =of the insert upwards.
X To remove the insert: push insert=to
the left ?.
Insert =slides out slightly to the right. X
Lif tinsert =up; and out.
X To refit the insert: place insert=into the
holder and pres sitdown on the right until
it engages.
X To close: pull cover :back as far as it will
go.
Rea r-compartment ashtray !
Close the ashtray when it is not in use and
before you fold the rear seats forward. You
can otherwise damage the ashtray. X
To open: briefly press cover ;at the top.
The ashtray opens.
X To remove the insert: push intorecess
= from the right.
Ashtray insert :slides out slightly to the
right.
X Lif tinsert :up and out.
X To refit the insert: place insert:into the
holder and pres sdown on the right until it
engages.

Wit hthe exception of th esocket in th efront
centr econsole, all socket scan be used for
accessories with amaximum curren tdraw of
240 W(20 A) .The socket in the front centre
console can be used for accessories with a
maximum curren tdraw of 180 W(15 A).
Accessories includ esuch items as lamp sor
charg ersf or mobi lephones.
If you use the sockets for long periods when
the engine is switched off ,the battery may
discharge. i
An emergency cut-of fensure sthat the on-
board voltage does not drop too low. If the
on-boar dvoltage is too low, the power to
the socket sisautomatically cut. This
ensures that there is sufficient power to
start the engine.

The socket is not intended for operating
the tyre inflation compressor. X

cessful.

When doing so, vary the distance between
remote control Aand the rear-view mirror.
i If the indicator lamp flashes green after
successful programming, the garage door
system is using arollin gcode. Af terp ro- gramming
,you must synchronise the
garage door opener integrated in the rear-
view mirror with the receive rofthe garage
door system.
Synchronising th erolling code
Your vehicle must be within range of the
garage door or exterior gate drive. Make sure
that neither your vehicle nor any persons/
objects are present within the sweep of the
door or gate.
Observe the safety notes when performing
the rolling code synchronisation.
X Turn the key to position 2in the ignition
lock.
X Press the programming button of the door
or gate drive (see the door or gate drive
operating instructions, e.g. under "Pro-
gramming of additional remote controls").
i Usually, you now have 30seconds to ini-
tiate the next step.
X Press previousl yprogramme dbutton ;,
= or? of the integrated garage door
opener until the door closes.
The rolling code synchronisatio nist hen
complete.
Problems when progra mming
If you have problems when programming the
integrated garage door opener, please note
the following:
R Check the transmitter frequency of garage
door driv eremote control A.This can usu-
ally be found on the bac kofthe remote
con trol.
R Replace the batteries in garage door
remote control A.This increases the like-
lihood that garage door remote con trolA
will transmit astron gand precis esignal to
the integrated garage door opener in the
rear-view mirror.
R When programming, hold remote control
A at varying distances and angles from the
button which you are programming. Try var-
