Fitting a wheel
Fitting the "space-saver"spare wheel
If your vehicle is fitted with alloy wheels, when tightening the bolts on fitting, it is normal to notice that the washersdo not come into contact with the "space-saver" spare wheel. The wheel is secured by the conical surface of each bolt.
After changing a wheel
To c o r r e c t ly store the punctured wheelin the boot ( not in the location of the space-saver wheel ), first remove the central cover. When using the "space-saver" typespare wheel, do not exceed 50 mph(80 km/h). Have the tightening of the bolts and thepressure of the spare wheel checkedby a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop without delay. Have the punctured wheel repaired and refitted to the vehicle as soon as possible.

Put the wheel in place on the hub. )
Screw in the bolts fully by hand.)
Pre-tighten the security bolt using the
wheelbrace 1fitted with the security socket 5.)
Pre-tighten the other bolts using the
wheelbrace 1only.

)Lower the vehicle fully. )Fold the jack 2 and detach it. )
Tighten the security bolt using the
wheelbrace 1 fitted with the securitysocket 5.)
Tighten the other bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 only.)
Refit the bolt covers on each of the bolts or
the hub cap (depending on equipment). ) Store the tools in the box.

Changing a bulb
Front lamps
Model with xenon headlamps
1.Main beam headlamps (H1- 35W).2.Directional dipped / directional
headlamps(D1S-35W).3.Daytime running lamps / sidelamps(light emitting diodes - LEDs).4.Direction indicators (HY21-21W).5.Directional foglamps(H11).
Model with halogen headlamps
1.Main beam headlamps (H1- 55W).2.
Dipped beam headlamps (H7-55W).3.Daytime running lamps/sidelamps

For H7 type bulbs with lugs... take care to observe their correct installation so asto ensure the best lighting performance.

In some weather conditions (e.g. low temperature or humidity), the presence of misting on the internal surface of the glass of the headlamps and rear lampsis normal; it disappears after the lamps have been on for a few minutes.


Risk of electrocution

Xenon bulbs (D1S-35W) must bereplaced by a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.



Before doing any work on your vehicle, switch off the ignition (Ready
lamp off) to avoid any risk of injury resulting fromautomatic operation of the engine.

(xenon model)
) Remove the protective plastic cover by
pulling on the tab.) Remove the connector with the bulb bypressing on the lug at the bottom. )
Remove the bulb and change it.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in reverse order.
The headlamps are fitted withpolycarbonate glass with a protectivecoating:)do not clean them using a dryor abrasive cloth, nor with adetergent or solvent product,
)use a sponge and soapy water, )when using a high pressure washer on persistent marks, do not keepthe lance directed towards thelamps or their edges for too long,so as not to damage their protectivecoating and seals,)do not touch the bulb directly withyour fingers, use lint-free cloths.


Changing a bulb should only be done after the headlamp has been switched off for a few minutes (risk of serious burns).
It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet (UV) type bulbs in order notto damage the headlamp. Always replace a failed bulb with a new bulb with the same type andspecification.
Dipped beam headlamps(xenon model)

D1S xenon bulbs must be changedby a CITROËN dealer or a qualifiedworkshop, as there is a risk of electrocution.
It is recommended that the D1S bulbsare changed at the same time when one of them fails.

pulling on the tab.






Main beam headlamps

)Remove the protective plastic cover bypulling on the tab.)Remove the connector with the bulb by pressing on the lug at the bottom. )Remove the bulb and change it.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in
reverse order.

Press on the top of the connector thenpivot the assembly downwards. )
Remove the connector with the bulb.)
Remove the bulb and change it.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in
reverse order, but engaging the bottom of thebulb first.

Daytime running lamps / sidelamps
For the replacement of this type of LED lamp and lighting guides, contact a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop.

A replacement kit for the LEDs is available fromCITROËN dealers.
Direction indicators
Faster flashing of a direction indicator warning lamp (left or right) indicates a failed bulb on that side.

The direction indicator bulb is located below the front lamp.) Turn the bulb holder a quar ter turn and pull
it out.) Remove the bulb and change it.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in
reverse order.
You can also contact a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified workshop for the replacement of thesebulbs.

) Remove the deflector under the body.)
Disconnect the bulb connector.)
Turn the bulb a quarter of a turn, withdraw
and change it.

Integrated direction indicator

bulbs.

Door mirror spotlamps

You should contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop for the replacement of the light emitting diode - LED.

Rear lamps

) Open the boot then remove the access cover.)
Disconnect the lamp connector. )
Remove the two lamp fixing nuts.
)Carefully remove the lamp unit from
outside. The retaining clips unclipautomatically. )Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turnand change the bulb.
For reassembly, carry out these operations in
reverse order.


Changing the light emittingdiode-LED lamps
