mumspeedwhileyouaredriving. Thissetting
willremainineffectuntilyouturnofftheigni­
tion,
assumingthatyou havenotchangedor
resetthesetting.

appearswhenyou exceedthemaximum
·speed.Itgoesoutwhenthespeedfallsbelow

Thewarning/indicatorlightilluminateswhen
theignitionisswitchedonandgoesoutafter
theenginestartsandtheidle hasstabilized.
This indicates
thattheMILisworking proper­
ly.
Ifthelightdoesnotgooutaftertheengine
isstarted,orilluminateswhileyouaredriv­
ing, a
malfunctionmay existintheenginesys­
tem.Ifthelightilluminates,thecatalytic con­
vertercouldbedamaged.
Continue drivingwithreducedpower(avoid­
'ing
sustainedhighspeedsand/orrapid accel­
erations)andhavetheconditioncorrected.
