of the AUX source: as far as the operation of the radio is
concerned, refer to the description in the "Functions and
Adjustments" chapter.AUX MODE

are directly managed by the device itself; it is not possible
to change track/folder/playlist with radio or steering wheel
controls.
Do not leave the cable of your portable player connected
with the AUX socket after the disconnection, to avoid
possible hisses from the speakers.
NOTE The AUX socket is not incorporated in the radio.
For its position, refer to the

ARRANGEMENTS FOR DEALING WITH THE VEHICLE AT THE END OF ITS LIFE
FGA has been committed for many years to safeguarding the environment th\
rough the constant improvement of its
production processes and manufacturing products that are increasingly co\
mpatible with the ecosystem. To assure
customers of the best possible service in terms of respecting environmen\
tal laws and in response to European
Directive 2000/53/EC governing vehicles at the end of their life, FGA is\
offering their customers the opportunity of
handing over their vehicle* at the end of its life without incurring any\
additional costs.
The European Directive sets out that when the vehicle is handed over the\
last keeper or owner should not incur
any expenses as a result of its market value. In particular, in almost a\
ll European Union countries, until 1st January
2007, vehicles registered after 1st July 2002 will be collected free of \
charge, whilst from 2007 collection will be free
of charge irrespective of the year of registration as long as the vehicl\
e contains its basic components (in particular,
the engine and bodywork) and has no additional waste.
To hand your vehicle over at the end of its life without extra cost, con\
tact an FGA Dealership or authorised
collection and scrapping centres. These centres have been carefully chos\
en to offer high quality service for the
collection, treatment and recycling of vehicles at their end of life, re\
specting the surrounding environment.
You can find further information on these collection and scrapping centr\
es either from an Abarth Dealership or by
calling the freephone number 00800 22278400 or on the Fiat website.
