"SETUP" menu
Press the "SETUP" button for ac-
cess to the "SETUP" menu. This al-
lows you to select from the following
functions:
- "System language",
- "Date and time",
- "Display",
- "Vehicle",
- "Units",
- "System".
System language
This menu allows you to select the lan-
guage used by the display: Deutsch,
English, Espanol, Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Polski, Portugues, Türkçe * .
* According to country.
Date and time
This menu allows you to set the date
and time, the format of the date and the
format of the time (refer to the "Audio
and Telematics" section or to the specif-
ic user guide given to you with the other
owner's documents). Display
This menu allows you to set the bright-
ness of the screen, the screen colour
scheme and the colour of the map (day/
night or auto mode).
Vehicle
This menu allows you to activate or
deactivate certain driving and comfort
equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer
to the "Visibility" section),
- guide-me-home lighting and dura- tion (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section).
Units
This menu allows you to select the
units: temperature (°C or °F) and con-
sumption (km/l, l/100 or mpg).
System
This menu allows you to restore the fac-
t o r y c o n fi g u r a t i o n , d i s p l a y t h e s o f t w a r e
version and activate scrolling text. F o r s a f e t y r e a s o n s , c o n fi g u r a t i o n
of the multifunction screen by the
driver must only be done when
stationary.

When the engine is cold, to prevent
too great a distribution of cold air,
t h e a i r fl o w w i l l o n l y r e a c h i t s o p t i -
mum level gradually.
In cold weather, it favours the dis-
tribution of warm air to the wind-
screen, the side windows and the
footwells only. On entering the vehicle, if the in-
terior temperature is much colder
or warmer than the comfort value,
there is no need to alter the value
displayed in order to obtain the re-
quired level of comfort. The system
corrects the temperature differ-
ence automatically and as quickly
as possible.
The air conditioning can only operate
with the engine running.
The driver and his front pas-
senger can each set the
temperature to suit their re-
quirements.
Turn dial 2 or 3 to the left to reduce
the value or to the right to increase
it.
A setting around 21 enables you to ob-
tain an optimum level of comfort. De-
pending on your requirements, a setting
between 18 and 24 is usual.
In addition, it is recommended that you
avoid a left/right setting difference of
more than 3.
4. Automatic visibility programme The automatic comfort pro-

to quickly demist or defrost
the windscreen and side win-
dows (humidity, several pas-
sengers, ice...).
In this case, select the automatic
visibility programme.
The system automatically controls the
a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g , t h e a i r fl o w a n d t h e a i r
intake and provides optimum distribu-
tion of the ventilation to the windscreen
and side windows.
Automatic operation
Press the "AUTO" button.
The "AUTO" symbol is dis-

DUAL-ZONE DIGITAL AIR CONDITIONING
We recommend that you use this mode:
it provides optimised automatic con-
trol of all of the functions, passenger
c o m p a r t m e n t t e m p e r a t u r e , a i r fl o w , a i r
distribution and air recirculation, in ac-
cordance with the comfort value that
you have selected.
This system is designed to operate ef-
fectively in all seasons, with the win-
dows closed. The value indicated on the display cor-
responds to a level of comfort and not
to a temperature in degrees Celsius or
Fahrenheit.

To avoid damaging a seat when folding
it, a l w a y s s t a r t w i t h t h e s e a t c u s h i o n ,
n e v e r t h e s e a t b a c k :
move the corresponding front seat
forward if necessary,
raise the front of the seat cushion 1 ,
tilt the seat cushion 1 against the
front seat,
check that the seat belt is positioned
correctly on the side of the seat
back,

When repositioning the rear seat:
straighten the seat back 3 and se-
cure it,
fold back the seat cushion 1 .
pull control 2 upwards to release the
seat back 3 ,
place the head restraints in the low
position or remove them if neces-
sary,
tilt the seat back 3 .
When repositioning the rear seat,
take care not to trap the seat belts. The seat cushion
1 can be removed
to increase the loading volume.

This operation can be carried out at the
rear seats or through the opening rear
screen.
To avoid damaging a seat when folding it:
move the corresponding front seat
forward if necessary,
place the head restraints in the low
position, Check that no object could hinder
the movement of the bench seat,
either above or below.

pull the control 1 forward to release
the seat back 2 which folds easily
onto the seat cushion 3 .
When repositioning the rear seat,
straighten the seat back 2 and lock it.
Check that the red indicator, located
at control 1 , is no longer visible.

MIRRORS
Door mirrors
Adjustable mirror providing the lateral
rearward vision necessary for overtak-
ing or parking. Folding
from outside: lock the vehicle using
the remote control or the key.
from inside: with the ignition on, pull
switch A rearwards.
Manual model A d j u s t m e n t
Move the lever in all four directions
to adjust the mirror.
The folding and unfolding of the
door mirrors can be deactivated by
a PEUGEOT dealer.
Folding
When parked, fold the mirror manu-
ally to protect it.
Unfolding
Before starting, unfold the mirror.
Electric model
A d j u s t m e n t
Slide switch A to the right or to the left
to select the corresponding mirror.
Move knob B in all four directions to
adjust.
Return switch A to the centre position. Unfolding
from outside: unlock the vehicle us-
ing the remote control or the key.
from inside: with the ignition on, pull
switch A rearwards.
The objects observed are, in reality,
closer than they appear.
Take this into account to correctly
judge the distance of vehicles ap-
proaching from behind.

the ISOFIX rings or the lugs, this per-
mits use of the entire loading volume up
to the roof:
- behind the rear seats (row 2),
- behind the front seats (row 1) when the rear seats are folded.
To use it in row 1:
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s 1 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net's
metal bar in the corresponding
u p p e r fi x i n g 1 , then do the same
with the other end,
slacken the straps fully,
fi x t h e s n a p h o o k o f e a c h o f t h e s t r a p s
on the corresponding lug 3 , located
under the bench seat cushion,
fold the rear seats,
tighten the straps without raising the
bench seat,
check that the net is hooked and
tightened correctly. To use it in row 2:
fold or remove the load space cover,
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s 2 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net's
metal bar in the corresponding upper
fi x i n g 2 , then do the same with the
other end,
attach the hook of each of the net's
straps in the corresponding ISOFIX
ring 4 ,
tighten the straps,
check that the net is hooked and tightened correctly.
When positioning the net, check
that the strap loops are visible from
the boot; this will make slackening
or tightening easier.

Deactivating the rear window
switches
Reinitialisation
Following reconnection of the battery or
in the event of a malfunction you must
reinitialise the operation of the electric
windows:
release the switch and pull it again
until the window closes completely,
hold the switch for approximately
one second after closing, Always remove the key from the
ignition when leaving the vehicle,
even for a short time.
In the event of contact during op-
eration of the windows, you must
reverse the movement of the win-
dow. To do this, press the switch
concerned.
When the driver operates the pas-
senger electric window switches,
they must ensure that no one is
preventing correct closing of the
windows.
The driver must ensure that the
passengers use the electric win-
dows correctly.
Be aware of children when operating
the windows. REAR QUARTER WINDOWS
On the 3-door versions, system for ven-
tilation of the rear seats by the partial
opening of the window.
Opening
For the safety of your children, press
switch 5 to prevent operation of the
rear windows irrespective of their
position.
When the button is pressed down, the
rear window switches are deactived.
When the button is raised, the rear window
switches are active.
Closing
Pull the lever to release the window.
Tilt the lever fully inwards to secure
the window in the closed position.
Tilt the lever outwards.
Push it fully to secure the window in
the open position.
press the switch to lower the win-
dow automatically,
when the window has reached the
low position, press the switch again
for approximately one second.
The safety anti-pinch function is not
active during these operations.
