Panel which groups together the vehicle operation dials and indicator lamps.
4. Speedometer.
Indicates the current speed of the moving vehicle (km/h).

zero reset button.
Resets the selected function to zero (trip distance recorder or service in-
dicator).
7. Instrument panel lighting button.
Adjusts the brightness of the lighting of the instrument panel.
DIALS
1. Rev counter.
Indicates the speed of rotation of the engine (x 1 000 rpm).
2. Fuel gauge.
Indicates the quantity of fuel remain- ing in the tank.
3. Coolant
temperature.
Indicates the temperature of the en- gine coolant (° Celsius).

switched on.

CHECKS
Check these components, or have them
checked by a PEUGEOT dealer, in ac-
cordance with the servicing booklet and
in relation to your engine.
Battery
Air filter and passenger compartment filter
Brake pads
Parking brake
Brake disc/drum wear Oil filter
Manual gearbox
Only use products recommended
by PEUGEOT or products of equi-
v a l e n t q u a l i t y a n d s p e c i fi c a t i o n s .
At the start of winter, have
your battery checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
H a v e t h e fi l t e r e l e m e n t s r e -
placed regularly.
If you drive
in dusty conditions, change
them twice as often. Brake pad wear depends on
the style of driving, in particular
for vehicles which are used in
town, over short distances.
It may be necessary to check the thickness
of the pads, even between services.
Where the parking brake trav-
el is too great or there is a re-
duction in the performance of
the system, the parking brake
should be adjusted, even be-
tween services.
Have the system checked by a PEUGEOT
dealer.

discs and/or drums, contact a

This does not require an oil
change. Check the level in ac-
cordance with the manufacturer's
