the Intelligent Light System.
You can use this function to switch between
symmetrical and asymmetrical dipped-beam
headlamps (Y page 157).
If you set the dipped-beam headlamps for
driving on the right/left, motorway mode and
the extended range foglamps are not availa-
ble.
You can only set the dipped-beam headlamps
for driving on the right/left when stationary:

If the engine is switched off and then none

after 60 seconds.
If you activate the Surround lighting:

If you switch on the Fold mirrorsinwhen

unloc kthe vehicle and then open adoor, the
exterior mirror sfold out again.
If you have switched the function on and you
fold the exterior mirror sinusing the button
on the door (Y page 101), they will not fold
out automatically. The exterior mirrors can then only be folded out usin
gthe button on
the door.

The multifunction display shows high-priority display messages in red.
You cannot hide display messages of the highest priority. The multifunction display shows
these messages con tinuously until the cause sfor the messages have been remedied.

Please respon dinaccordance with the displa ymessages and follow the additional notes in
this Owner's Manual.
When you stop and park the vehicle, please observ ethe notes on HOL D(Ypage 172) and
