PLAYING A CD OR AN MP3 COMPILATION INFORMATION AND ADVICE
In order to be able to play a recorded CDR or CDRW, when r e c o r d i n g , t h e I S O 9 6 6 0 l e v e l 1 . 2 o r J o l i e t fi l e f o r m a t i s recommended.
If the disc is recorded in another format, it may not be playe d correctly.
I t i s r e c o m m e n d e d t h a t t h e s a m e r e c o r d i n g f o r m a t i s a l w a y s used for an individual disc, with as low a speed as possible ( 4 x m a x i m u m ) f o r o p t i m u m s o u n d q u a l i t y .
In the particular case of a multi-session CD, the Joliet format is recommended.

USING THE USB PORT
U S B s t i c k ( 1 . 1 , 1 . 2 a n d 2 . 0 ) :
- the USB sticks must be in FAT or FAT 32 f o r m a t ( N T F S n o t s u p p o r t e d ) ,
- n a v i g a t i o n t h r o u g h t h e fi l e b a s e i s b y m e a n s o f t h e s t e e r i n g w h e e l c o n t r o l s .
T h e a u d i o fi l e s a r e t r a n s m i t t e d f r o m a U S B s t i c k t o your audio system, to be listened to via the vehicle's speakers.
Do not connect a hard drive or USB equipment other than USB sticks in FAT 16 or FAT 32 format (NTFS not s u p p o r t e d ) . T h i s c o u l d d a m a g e y o u r i n s t a l l a t i o n .

P l a y b e g i n s automatically after a delay which depends on the ca pacity of the USB stick.

PLAYING AN MP3 USB MEMORY STICK
I f a n o t h e r s o u r c e i s b e i n g p l a y e d , press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select "USB" to play it.
Connect a USB memory stick to the port provided.
T o e j e c t t h e U S B m e m o r y s t i c k , u s e t h e s h o r t - c u t m e n u ( p r e s s O K ) or press the MENU button, select "Audio functions", "USB", then select "Eject USB".
T h e p l a y a n d d i s p l a y o f a n M P 3 c o m p i l a t i o n m a y d e p e n d o n t h e fi l e format used.
Select "USB" and press the dial to c o n fi r m .
Insert a USB memory stick in the space provided and press the MENU button.

COPYING AN MP3 USB MEMORY STICK ONTO THE HARD DIS K
In order to be read, the USB memory stick must be formatted FAT 16 or 32. The player only reads USB memory sticks.

Insert an audio CD or an MP3 compilation and press the MENU button.
Select "Copy CD to jukebox" and press t h e d i a l t o c o n fi r m .
Select the letters one by one and s e l e c t " O K " t o c o n fi r m .
The "Auto creation" tab automatically copies the CD by default into an album of the type "album n°...".
I t i s n o t p o s s i b l e t o c o p y fi l e s f r o m t h e J u k e b o x t o a C D .
T h e " S t o p t h e C D c o p y " a c t i o n d o e s n o t d e l e t e t h e fi l e s w h i c h h a v e already been transferred onto the jukebox hard disk.
T h e a u d i o o r M P 3 C D i s c o p i e d o n t o t h e h a r d d i s k . C o p y i n g m a y t a k e u p t o 2 0 m i n u t e s d e p e n d i n g o n t h e l e n g t h t h e C D . W h i l e c o p y i n g i s i n p r o g r e s s , i t i s n o t p o s s i b l e t o l i s t e n t o a l b u m s previously copied to the hard disk or to CDs.
COPYING A CD ONTO THE HARD DISK
If it is not an MP3 CD, the Jukebox automatically compresses the CD in MP3 format. The compression may take approximately 2 0 m i n u t e s d e p e n d i n g o n t h e l e n g t h t h e C D . D u r i n g t h i s compression phase, it is possible to listen to the CD or to al bums previously copied to the hard disk.

Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter the letters of the album title one by one.
Turn the dial and select the letters of t h e a l b u m t i t l e o n e b y o n e c o n fi r m i n g e a c h t i m e b y p r e s s i n g t h e d i a l .
Rename To rename the tracks of an album, follow the same procedure, s e l e c t i n g t h e t r a c k s t o b e r e n a m e d .
Use the ESC button to exit from the list of tracks.

Select the "Delete" function to delete an album or a track from the Jukebox.
