tem and are not necessarily identical to those shown in the control system displays.
The first function displayed in each menu will automatically show you which part of the system
you are in.

Control system
Setting automatic locking
Use this function to activate or deactivate
the automatic central locking. With the
automatic central locking system
activated, the vehicle is centrally locked at
vehicle speeds of approximately
9mph(15km/h).
Move the selection marker with button
æ or ç to the

submenu.

the left multifunction display: Automatic Door Lock

Use the trip computer menu to call up
statistical data on your vehicle.

All statistics stored since the last engine
start will be reset approximately 4 hours after
the SmartKey in the starter switch is turned to
position0 or removed from the starter switch.
Resetting will not occur if you turn the SmartKey
back to position1 or2 within this time period.

is exceeded:


distance covered: 99 999 miles


time elapsed: 9 999 hours

If only very little fuel is left in the tank, a
vehicle at the fuel pump is shown instead of the
range.
