TEM” with CONSULT-III. Refer to DLK-56, "CONSULT-III Function (INTELLIGENT KEY)"
.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Key cylinder switch is OK.
NO >> Refer to PWC-36, "Diagnosis Procedure"

1. CHECK DOOR KEY CYLINDER SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between main power window and door lock/ unlock switch connector and ground.
Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES >> Replace main power window and door lock/unlock switch.
NO >> GO TO 2

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect main power window and door lock/unlock switch and front door lock assembly LH (key cylinder switch).
3. Check continuity between main power window and door lock/
unlock switch connector and front door lock assembly LH (key
cylinder switch) connector.
4. Check continuity between main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
3. CHECK DOOR KEY CYLINDER SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between front door lock assembly LH (key cylinder
switch) connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4
NO >> Repair or replace harness.
4. CHECK DOOR KEY CYLINDER SWITCH
Check door key cylinder switch.
Refer to PWC-37, "Component Inspection"
.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Check intermittent incident. Refer to GI-38, "Intermittent Incident".
NO >> Replace front door lock assembly LH (door key cylinder switch).

Power Window Serial Link Check
1. CHECK MAIN POWER WINDOW AND DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL
1. Remove Intelligent Key or ignition key, and close front door LH and RH.
2. Check signal between BCM connector and ground with oscillo- scope when door lock and unlock switch (LH and RH) is turned
to “LOCK” or “UNLOCK”.
3. Check that signals which are shown in the figure below can be detected during 10 second just after door lock and unlock switch
(LH and RH) is turned to “LOCK” or “UNLOCK”.

Power Window Serial Link Check
1. CHECK POWER WINDOW AND DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH RH
1. Remove Intelligent Key or ignition key, and close the front door LH and RH.
