However,since it is possible to lock the doors without the use of the key, care should be exercised to ensure that the keydoes not become locked inside the vehicle by mistake. NOTE: If you make your own duplicate key, you will not be able to cancel the system or start the engine.

With the "Fresh" mode selected, airenters the vehicle from the outside andis heated or cooled according to the function selected. With the "Recirculation" mode selected, air from within the passenger compart- ment will be drawn through the heatingsystem and heated or cooled according to the function selected. B970C01CM-GAT Automatic Operation The FATC (Full Automatic Tempera- ture Control) system automatically con- trols heating and cooling by doing asfollows:
1. Push the AUTO button. It is indi-
cated by AUTO on the display. The modes, fan speeds, air intake and air-conditioning will be controlledautomatically by temperature set- ting. 2. Turn the "TEMP" knob to set the
desired temperature.The temperature will increase to the maximum 32°C(90°F) by turning theknob clockwise. The temperature will decrease to the minimum 17°C(62°F) by turning theknob counterclockwise.
NOTE: If the battery has been discharged or disconnected, the temperature mode will reset to Centigrade degrees. This is a normal condition and youcan change the temperature mode from Centigrade to Fahrenheit as follows;
