When driving
nSystem check display
After switching the “ENGINE START STOP” switch to IGNITION ON mode,
“LAND CRUISER” is displayed while system operation is checked. When the
system check is complete, the normal screen will return.
nTire inflation pressure
Tire inflation pressure changes with temperature. The displayed values may
also be different from the values measured using other gauges.
nLiquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on the display. This phenomenon is
characteristic of liquid crystal displays, and there is no problem to continue
using the display.
NOTICE
nThe multiinformation display at low temperatures
Allow the interior of the vehicle to warm up before using the liquid crystal
information display. At extremely low temperatures, the information display
monitor may respond slowly, and display changes may be delayed.

nThe Toyota park assist system can be operated when

The shift lever is in a position other than “P”.
The vehicle speed is less than about 6 mph (10 km/h).
lRear corner and back sensors:
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
The shift lever is in “R”.

When driving
nAutomatic system cancelation
In the following situations, the system is canceled automatically, and the
crawl control indicator will turn off:
lWhen the shift lever is moved to “P”.
lWhen the four−wheel drive control switch is in “H4”.
In the following situations, it is possible to descend a slope at a fixed low
speed, however when traveling the system is canceled automatically, and
the crawl indicator will turn off.
lWhen the shift lever is moved to “N”.
lWhen the vehicle speed exceeds 6 mph (10 km/h).
lWhen the brake pedal is depressed firmly.
lWhen the parking brake is engaged.
lIf the driver ’s door is opened.
lWhen the driving mode is set to second start mode.
nIf the brake system overheats
The system will cease operation and a buzzer will sound to alert the driver.
Stop the vehicle in a safe place. (There is no problem with continuing normal
driving.)
nIf the automatic transmission system overheats
The system will cease operation, a buzzer will sound and a warning mes−
sage will be displayed to alert the driver. Stop the vehicle in a safe place until
the warning message turns off.
