Thistirepressurewarningappearswithvehiclestoppedandcanbedeactivated.Thetirepressurewarninglightintheinstrumentpanelgoesoutwhenthetirepressurehasbeencorrected.
Stage2-Flattire
Thepressureinthetirehasdroppedbymorethan6psi(0.4bar).Thissignificantpressurelossisadangertoroadsafety.
Whenthetirepressurewarninghasappearedontheon-boardcomputer,stopimmediatelyatasuitablelocation.Checkthetireforsignsofdamage.Ifnecessary,fillintiresealantandsetthecorrecttirepressure.
Thistirepressurewarningappearswhendrivingandcanbedeactivated.Thetirepressurewarninglightintheinstrumentpanelgoesoutwhenthetirepressurehasbeencorrected.

TheTirePressureMonitoringbeginsto“learn”thewheelsafterawheelchange,wheeltransmitterreplacementorupdateofthetiresettings.During

thisprocess,theTirePressureMonitoringrecog-nizesthetiresandtheirlocations.Theon-boardcomputerdisplayesthemessage“TPCinactive-systemlearning”.
TheTirePressureMonitoringrequiresacertainamountoftimetolearnthewheels.Duringthistime,thecurrenttirepressuresarenotavailableontheon-board-computer:
–ThedisplayoftheTirepressurefunctionoftheon-boardcomputershowslines.
–Therequiredpressuresforcoldtiresat68°F(20°C)areindicatedintheInfopressuredisplayintheTirepressuremenu.
–Tirepressurewarningsareissuedwithouttirepressureandpositioninformation(gure)assoonasthevehicle’sownwheelshavebeendetectedandthetirepressurewarninglighthasgoneout.
PositionandpressureinformationisdisplayedassoonastheTirePressureMonitoringhasassignedthewheelsidentifiedasbelongingtothevehicletothecorrectwheelpositions.
Thewheellearningprocesstakesplaceexclusivelywhenthevehicleisbeingdriven.
Manuallycheckthetirepressureatallwheelsandcorrectthetirepressuretotherequiredvalue.
Changingawheelandreplacingtires
Newwheelsmustbefittedwithradiotransmit-tersfortheTirePressureMonitoring.Beforetiresarechanged,thebatterychargestateofthewheeltransmittersshouldbecheckedatanauthorizedPorschedealer.

Monitoringisnotactivewhen:
–theTirePressureMonitoringisfaulty,
–wheeltransmittersfortheTirePressureMonitoringaremissing,
–temporarilyafterchangingawheel(learningphase),
