w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r
In the minute following switching off
of the ignition, any action on the stalk
positions the wipers in the centre of
the windscreen.
This action enables you to position
the wiper blades for winter parking,
cleaning or replacement (See section
"Practical information - Changing a
wiper blade").
To park the wipers after this has
been done, switch on the ignition and
operate the stalk.

Pull the windscreen wiper stalk
towards you. The windscreen wash
then the windscreen wipers operate
f o r a i x e d p e r i o d .
The headlamp wash is also activated,

AUTO
Automatic or single wipe
(press downwards).
In the I ntermittent position, the wiping
speed is in proportion to the speed of
the vehicle.
In AUTO mode, the wiping speed is
in proportion to the intensity of the
r a i n f a l l . T h e i r s t p r e s s o f t h e s t a l k
downwards activates the automatic
wipe.
Subsequent presses trigger a single
wipe. F r o n t w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r w i t h

Note: on the saloon, the front
courtesy light (in the "permanently
on" position) forces the switching on
of the rear courtesy light if the switch
is in the central position.
To switch off the rear courtesy light,
place the switch in the "permanently
off" position.
In this position, the courtesy
l i g h t c o m e s o n a u t o m a t i c a l l y :
- when the vehicle is unlocked,
- when the key is removed from the ignition,
- when a door is opened,
- when the vehicle location function is used. Permanently off.

system automatically acts on the en-
gine and the brake of one or more
