CHECKING LEVELS
Check all of these levels regularly and
t o p t h e m u p i f n e c e s s a r y , u n l e s s o t h e r -
w i s e i n d i c a t e d .
I f a l e v e l d r o p s s i g n i i c a n t l y , h a v e t h e
c o r r e s p o n d i n g c i r c u i t c h e c k e d b y a
PEUGEOT dealer. Brake fluid level

Oil level T h e r e a d i n g w i l l o n l y b e c o r r e c t
if the vehicle is on level ground
and the engine has been off for
more than 15 minutes.

Coolant level The coolant level should be
c l o s e t o t h e " M A X " m a r k b u t
should never exceed it.
W h e n t h e e n g i n e i s w a r m , t h e
t e m p e r a t u r e o f t h e c o o l a n t i s r e g u l a t e d
b y t h e f a n . T h i s c a n o p e r a t e w i t h t h e i g -
nition off.
O n v e h i c l e s w h i c h a r e i t t e d w i t h a
p a r t i c l e e m i s s i o n i l t e r , t h e f a n m a y
operate after the vehicle has been
switched off, even if the engine is
cold.
In addition, as the cooling system is

T h e s e i v e b u l b s a r e c h a n g e d f r o m
o u t s i d e t h e b o o t :
i r s t o p e n t h e l a p t o g a i n a c c e s s t o
t h e i x i n g b o l t ,
r e m o v e t h e l i g h t i x i n g b o l t ,
take out the light from the outside,
disconnect the light connector,
remove the light seal,
p r e s s t h e f o u r t a b s a n d r e m o v e t h e
bulb holder,
t u r n t h e b u l b o n e q u a r t e r o f a t u r n
and change it.
T o r e i t , c a r r y o u t t h e s e o p e r a t i o n s i n
reverse order.

Changing the third brake light

odes light, contact a PEUGEOT dealer. Changing the number plate light
bulbs (W 5 W)
I n s e r t a t h i n s c r e w d r i v e r i n o n e o f
the exterior holes of the lens.
P u s h i t t o w a r d s t h e o u t s i d e t o u n c l i p
it.
Remove the lens.
Pull the bulb and change it.
High pressure washing
W h e n u s i n g t h i s t y p e o f w a s h i n g
o n s t u b b o r n d i r t , d o n o t p e r s i s t o n
t h e h e a d l a m p s , t h e l i g h t s a n d t h e i r
surrounds to avoid damaging their
varnish and their seal.
