FRONT BRAKE LEVER
The front brake lever 1 is located on the right
handlebar. Pull it toward the handlebar to acti-
vate the front brake.

REAR BRAKE PEDAL
The rear brake pedal 1 is located on the right
side of the machine. Press down on the brake
pedal to activate the rear brake.

FUEL COCK
The fuel cock supplies fuel from the tank to
carburetor while filtering the fuel. The fuel cock
has the two positions:
OFF:With the lever in this position, fuel will not
flow. Always return the lever to this posi-
tion when the engine is not running.
ON: With the lever in this position, fuel flows
to the carburetor. Normal riding is done
with the lever in this position.

STARTER KNOB (CHOKE)
When cold, the engine requires a richer air-fuel
mixture for starting. A separate starter circuit,
which is controlled by the starter knob 1, sup-
plies this mixture. Pull the starter knob out to
open the circuit for starting. When the engine
has warmed up, push it in to close the circuit.

ARMATUREN UND DEREN FUNKTION
LEVIER DE FREIN AVANT
Le levier de frein avant 1 est situé sur la partie
droite du guidon. Le tirer vers la poignée pour
actionner le frein avant.
PEDALE DE FREIN ARRIERE
La pédale de frein arrière 1 est située du côté droit
de la moto. Appuyer sur la pédale de frein pour
actionner le frein arrière.
ROBINET DE CARBURANT
Le robinet de carburant amène le carburant du
réservoir au carburateur tout en le filtrant. Il a deux
positions:
OFF: Lorsque le robinet est dans cette position,
l’arrivée de carburant est coupée. Toujours
replacer le robinet dans cette position après
avoir coupé le moteur.
ON: Lorsque le robinet est dans cette position, le
carburant parvient au carburateur. Pour rou-
ler, le robinet doit se trouver dans cette posi-
tion.
BOUTON DE STARTER (CHOKE)
Quand il est froid, le moteur a besoin d’un mélange
air - carburant plus riche pour démarrer. Un circuit
de démarrage séparé, contrôlé par le bouton de star-
ter 1, fournit ce mélange. Tirer le bouton de starter
afin d’ouvrir le circuit pour le démarrage. Une fois
le moteur chaud, le repousser afin de refermer le
circuit.VORDERRAD-BREMSHEBEL
Der Vorderrad-Bremshebel 1 befindet sich
auf der rechten Seite des Lenkers. Ziehen Sie
den Bremshebel zum Lenker, um die Vorder-

KRAFTSTOFFHAHN
Der Kraftstoffhahn leitet den Kraftstoff vom
Tank zum Vergaser und filtert ihn gleichzeitig.
Der Kraftstoffhahn hat zwei Stellungen:
OFF:In dieser Stellung des Kraftstoffhahns ist
die Kraftstoffzufuhr unterbrochen. Drehen
Sie den Kraftstoffhahn nach dem Abstel-
len des Motors stets in diese Stellung.
ON: In dieser Stellung des Kraftstoffhahns
fließt der Kraftstoff zum Vergaser. Wäh-
rend des normalen Fahrbetriebs steht der
Kraftstoffhahn in dieser Stellung.
KALTSTARTERKNOPF (CHOKE)
Ein kalter Motor benötigt zum Starten ein fette-
res Kraftstoff/Luft-Gemisch. Eine spezielle
Startvorrichtung, die über den Kaltstarterknopf
1 aktiviert wird, liefert dieses Gemisch. Den
Kaltstarterknopf zum Starten herausziehen.
Nachdem der Motor warmgelaufen ist, den
Choke wieder hineindrükken.

This valve joint 1 prevents fuel from flowing
out and is installed to the fuel tank breather
hose.
CAUTION:
In this installation, make sure the arrow
faces the fuel tank and also downward.

This sidestand 1 is used to support only the
machine when standing or transporting it.
WARNING

Never apply additional force to the side-
stand.

Remove this sidestand before starting

AIR FILTER CASE COVER
In order to prevent water from entering the car-
buretor while the machine is operated in the
rain, attach the air filter case cover 1 to the
rear frame.

Air filter case cover installation
1. Set the air filter case cover as shown, and
install it to the seat rail of the rear frame
while rotating air filter case cover in the
direction of the arrow.
2. Using a conventional screwdriver, hold up
the front of the air filter case cover.
Then engage the groove a in the cover
over the air filter case edge b.

CLAPET DE RENIFLARD
Ce clapet 1 empêche le carburant de s’échapper et
est monté sur le tuyau du reniflard du réservoir de
carburant.
ATTENTION:
Lors du montage, veiller à orienter la flèche vers
le réservoir de carburant et vers le bas.
BEQUILLE LATERALE AMOVIBLE
La béquille latérale 1 ne sert qu’à supporter la
moto à l’arrêt ou durant le transport.
AVERTISSEMENT

Ne jamais soumettre la béquille latérale à des
forces supplémentaires.

Replier la béquille avant de démarrer.
CLE A EMBOUTS DE RAYONS
La clé à embouts de rayons 1 permet de serrer les
embouts filetés de rayons.
COUVERCLE DU BOITIER DE FILTRE A
AIR
Pour empêcher l’eau de pénétrer dans le carbura-
teur par temps de pluie, attacher le couvercle du
boîtier de filtre à air 1 au cadre arrière.

Installation du couvercle du boîtier de filtre à air
1. Placer le couvercle du boîtier du filtre à air
comme indiqué et l’installer dans le rail du
châssis arrière tout en le faisant tourner dans le
sens de la flèche.
2. A l’aide d’un tournevis conventionnel, mainte-
nir soulever l’avant du couvercle du boîtier du
filtre à air.
Engager ensuite la rainure a du couvercle sur
le bord du boîtier du filtre à air b.AUSLAUFSCHUTZVENTIL
Das Auslaufschutzventil 1 ist in den Kraftstoff-

ACHTUNG:
Beim Einbau darauf achten, daß der Pfeil
zum Kraftstofftank und nach unten weist.
ABNEHMBARER SEITENSTÄNDER
Der Seitenständer 1 dient nur zum Abstützen
der Maschine im Stand und beim Transport.
WARNUNG

Den Seitenständer niemals zusätzlich
belasten.

Den Seitenständer vor dem Anfahren
abnehmen.
NIPPELSCHLÜSSEL
Dieser Nippelschlüssel 1 wird zum Festzie-
hen der Speichen verwendet.
LUFTFILTERGEHÄUSEDECKEL
Damit kein Wasser in den Vergaser gelangen
kann, wenn die Maschine bei Regen gefahren
wird, ist der Luftfiltergehäusedeckel 1 am hin-
teren Rahmen zu befestigen.

Luftfiltergehäusedeckel einbauen
1. Den Luftfiltergehäusedeckel wie in der
Abbildung gezeigt ansetzen und auf den
Sitzschienen des hinteren Rahmens ein-
bauen, dabei den Gehäusedeckel in Pfeil-
richtung drehen.
2. Mit einem gewöhnlichen Schraubenzieher
die Vorderseite des Gehäusedeckels fest-
halten.
Danach die Nut a in dem Deckel über den
Rand des Luftfiltergehäuses b einrasten
lassen.
