Tips on CD operation
To ensure perfect, high quality CD
reproduction, only clean, undamaged
CD’s should be used.
Please do not stick any labels onto
the CD’s.
To avoid damage to the CD player, never
use protective film for CDs or stabiliz-
ers (available as CD accessories).
Only use CD’s with the CD magazine
specifically designed for your CD
changer
, as per the SEAT Original
Accessories Programme, and keep them
in their original box.
Never leave CD’s exposed to direct sun-
light!
Notes on cleaning compact discs
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean CD’s.
Wipe the disc in a straight line from the
centre outwards. Stubborn soiling can
be removed with a commercial CD
cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
Never use fluids like petrol, paint
thinner or record cleaner, as these
can damage the surface of the CD!
Safety precautions for laser
devices
Laser devices are included in the safety
classes 1 – 4 as per DIN IEC 76 (CO)
6/VDE 0837.
This CD is in class 1.
The laser used in units of class 1 is of
low energy and so shielded that there is
no danger when it is correctly used.
Do not remove the unit’s cover. It
does not have any parts which can be
serviced by the user.
