Pre-tensioning and force-limiting seat belts Safety in the event of a frontal impact has been improved by the introduc-tion of pre-tensioning and force-limi-ting seat belts. Depending on theseriousness of the impact, the pre-tensioning system instantly tightensthe seat belts firmly against the bodyof the occupant. The pre-tensioning seat belts are armed when the ignition is on. The force-limiting device reduces the pressure of the seat belt against theoccupant's body in the event of anaccident.

The design of your vehicle and of its seats offers multiple seat configurations. There are
side seats which can be installed in the 2nd or 3rd
row, on the right or on the left. Once the centre seat has been removed from the 2nd row,
you can recentre the side seats for more comfort. There is also a centre seat, fitted in the central position of the
2nd row, which can also be installed in the left position in the
3rd row. In this case, you must use the 3rd row rear left seat belt without passing it through the strap guide.
You can add up to two additional seatsin the 3rd row, on the
right or on the left.
The various operations resulting in modification of the existing configuration must be carried outwhen the vehicle is stationary (see "Seats" section).
Examples of varied arrangements combining comfort and practicality:
