SHIFT INTERLOCK
Correct cable adjustment is important to proper
interlock operation. The gearshift cable must be cor-
rectly adjusted in order to shift out of PARK.

essary to access the gearshift cable grommet (Fig.

assembly alignment reference. Use scriber or paint to
make alignment marks.

expanding type snap-ring pliers (Fig. 146). Insert
