This light illuminates when there is a malfunction of an exhaust gas relatedcomponent, and the system is not functioning properly so that the ex- haust gas regulation values are notsatisfied. This light will also illuminatewhen the ignition key is turned to the"ON" position, and will go out in a fewseconds. If it illuminates while driving, or does not illuminate when the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position, takeyour car to your nearest authorizedHyundai dealer and have the systemchecked. To adjust the headlight beam level according to the number of the pas-sengers and the loading weight in theluggage area, turn the beam levelingswitch. The higher the number of the switch position, the lower the headlight beamlevel. Always keep the headlight beamat the proper leveling position, or head-lights may dazzle other road users.Listed below are the examples of proper switch settings. For loading conditions other than those listed below, adjustthe switch position so that the beamlevel may be the nearest as the condi-tion obtained according to the list.
