The power window system has a key-
of f delay f unction. The windows will
stilloperateforuptotenminutes
after you turn off the ignition.
Opening either f ront door cancels
the delay function. You must turn
the ignition switch ON (II) again
bef ore you can raise or lower the
windows.
If your car’s battery is disconnected
or goes dead, or the driver’s window
f use is removed, the AUTO f unction
will be disabled. The power window
system needs to be reset af ter
reconnecting the battery or installing
the f use. You should do the f ollowing.
Start the engine. Push down on
the driver’s window switch until
the window is f ully open.
Pull back on the driver’s window
switch to close the window
completely, then hold the switch
f or a second or two more.
If the power windows do not operate
properly af ter resetting, have your
car checked by an Acura dealer. 1.

The moonroof has a key-of f delay.
You can still open and close the
moonroof f or up to ten minutes af ter
you turn of f the ignition. The key-of f
delay cancels as soon as you open
either f ront door. You must then
turn the ignition ON (II) for the
moonroof to operate.
To tilt up the back of the moonroof ,
press and hold the center button
( ). To close the moonroof ,
press and hold the top of the switch
( ). To open the moonroof ,
press and hold the bottom of the
switch ( ). Release the switch
when the moonroof gets to the
desired position. Make sure
everyone’s hands are away f rom the
moonroof bef ore opening or closing
it.
The moonroof has two positions: it
can be tilted up in the back f or
ventilation, or it can be slid back into
the roof . Use the switch under the
lef t dashboard vent to operate the
moonroof . The ignition switch must
be ON (II).

Closing the moonroof on
someone’s hands or fingers can
cause serious injury.
Make sure all hands and fingers
are clear of the moonroof
before closing it. If you try to open the moonroof in
below-f reezing temperatures, or when
it is covered with snow or ice, you can
damage the moonroof panel or motor.

To apply the parking brake, push the
parking brake pedal down with your
f oot. To release the parking brake,
push on the pedal again. The parking
brake light on the instrument panel
should go out when the parking
brake is f ully released with the

To set the clock: Press and hold the H button until
the hour advances to the desired
time.
Press and hold the M button until
the numbers advance to the
desired time.
The digital clock displays the time
with the ignition switch in any
position.

The coin box is located under the
audio system. To open the coin box,
pull the bottom edge. Close it with a
firm push.
To open the console compartment,
pull up on the lef t lever and lif t the
lid.
To close, lower the lid and push it
down until it latches. Youcanputsmallitemsinthetray

lid. To use the tray, pull up on the
right lever and lif t up the armrest
pad.

Small, lidded storage compartments
are located in the armrest of the
f ront passenger’s door, and in the
armrests of both rear doors. To open
a compartment, pivot the lid up.To remove a storage compartment
f or emptying, open the lid, then
caref ully pull the compartment
straight up and out of the armrest.These storage compartments can
also be used as ashtrays. Make sure
you remove any f lammable materials
f rom the compartment bef ore using
it as an ashtray.

The rear seat also has a beverage
holder in the center armrest. To use
it, pivot the armrest down.
To open the beverage holder, push
on the button. The beverage holder
lid is spring-loaded and will swing
open. To close it, push either half of
the lid closed.
Be caref ul when you are using the
beverage holder. A spilled liquid that
is very hot can scald you or your
passengers. Spilled liquids can also
damage the upholstery, carpeting,
and electrical components in the
interior. The beverage holder can be
removed. To remove it, lif t up the
f ront of the holder by holding it at
the middle. To reinstall it, put in the
back of the holder, align the f ront
tabs in the slots and push down the
f ront of the holder.

To use the sun visor, pull it down.
You can also use the sun visor at the
side window. Remove the support
rod f rom the clip and swing the sun
visor toward the side window. In this
position, the sun visor can be
extended by sliding out the
extension.Touseavanitymirroronthebackof
the sun visor, pull up the cover.
The light beside the mirror comes
on only when the headlight switch is
in one of the on positions.
Make sure you put the sun visor
back in place when you are getting
into or out of the car. Do not use the
sun visor extension over the rear
view mirror.
