OPENING THE BONNET
Inside the vehicle:Push the
handle on the lefthand side,
under the fascia.
Outside the vehicle: Lift
the catch, raise the bon
net and secure the strut
to keep the bonnet open.
FILLING WITH FUEL
This operation must be carried out with
the engine switched off.
➜ Open the fuel filler flap.
➜ Insert the key then turn it to the left.
➜ Remove the cap and hook it onto the clip on the inside of the flap.
A label on the inside of the flap shows which type of fue l to use.
When you fill your tank, do not continue after the third cu toff of the pump.
This could cause your vehicle to malfunction.
The capacity of the tank is approximately 13 gallons (60 litres).
➜ After filling the tank, lock the cap and close the flap.
Low fuel level warning light
From the time this light comes on, the range
remaining is approximately 30 miles(50 km).

General menu
Press the
“MENU” button to access
the general menu and select one of

MENGISI BAHAN BAKAR Level bahan bakar rendah. Bila level tangki bahan bakar minimum terca-pai, indikator peringatanini akan menyala. Anda masih dapat berkendarahingga sekitar 50 km. Indikator ini berkedip untuk mengin- formasikan adanya gangguan fungsi
pada pengukur level bahan bakar.

Masukkan kunci kontak dan kemudian putar ke kiri.

Battery
At the start of winter, have your bat
tery checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Air filter and pollen filter
Have the filter elements replaced
regularly. If you drive in dusty con
ditions, change them twice as
often.
Brake pads
Brake pad wear depends on the style
of driving, in particular for vehicles
which are used in town, over short
distances. It may be necessary to
check the thickness of the pads,
even between services.
Parking brake
Where the parking brake travel is too
great or there is a reduction in the
performance of the system, the
handbrake should be adjusted, even
between services.
Have the system checked by a

RUNNING OUT OF FUEL

If you should run out of fuel, it is
necessary to reprime the circuit:
1.4 litre HDI engine
fill the fuel tank with at least five
litres of diesel,
operate the manual repriming pump, under the bonnet, until fuel
appears in the transparent pipe
under the bonnet,
operate the starter until the engine starts.
2 litre HDI engine
fill the fuel tank with at least five litres of diesel,
operate the manual repriming pump, under the bonnet, until
you feel resistance during the
manoeuvre,
operate the starter until the engine starts.
