Lower
To tilt up the rear end of the moon roof fully, push the switch on
the rear side or on the front side to lower it.
To operate the moon roof, the ignition key must be in the ”ON”
position.
Key off operation: Even if the ignition key is turned to the ”ACC”
or ”LOCK” position, the moon roof can be operated until any of the
doors is opened (or for about 45 seconds).
Operating the moon roof from outside the vehicle
The moon roof can be closed or opened using an ignition key.*
Insert the ignition key into the key hole on the driver’s door.
To close the moon roof: Turn the key in the locking direction and
hold it for a few seconds.To open the moon roof: Turn the key in the unlocking direction and
hold it for a few seconds.
NOTE: *This feature can be set inoperative, or sliding open or
tilting up can be selected. Ask your Lexus dealer for details.
Jam protection function
During closing operation, the moon roof stops and is open if
something gets caught into the roof opening.
If an impact is given to the moon roof, this function may work
without anything caught.
CAUTION
Never try jamming any part of your body to make the jam
protection function work intentionally.
The jam protection function may not work when something
gets caught just before the moon roof fully closed.

To move the head restraint forward or rearward, pull or push on
the top.
The head restraint is most effective when it is close to your head.
Therefore, using a cushion on the seatback is not recommended.
CAUTION
Adjust the top of the head restraint so that it is closest to the
top of your ears.
Front and outside rear seats (manual type)

To raise the head restraint, pull it up. To lower it, press the lock
release button and push the head restraint down. To move the
head restraint forward or rearward, pull or push on the top.
The head restraint is most effective when it is close to your head.
Therefore, using a cushion on the seatback is not recommended.

CAUTION
Adjust the top of the head restraint so that it is closest to the
top of your ears.
After adjusting the head restraint, make sure it is locked in
position.
Do not drive with the head restraints removed.
Center rear seat

To move the head restraint forward, pull on the top.
Pulling the top of the head restraint forward as far as it can go will
return it to the original position.
CAUTION
After adjusting the head restraint, make sure it is locked in
position.

Power rear view mirror control

Control switch
To adjust the power rear view mirror, first place the master
switch at ”L” (left) or ”R” (right), and push the control switch
on the desired side.
If the engine is not running, the key must be in the ”ACC” position
for operation of the power rear view mirror.When you are backing up, you can adjust the mirror on the
passenger’s side down quickly in the following procedure.
1. Put the selector lever in the ”R” position.
2. Place the master switch at ”L” (left).
The mirror returns to the previous position by any of the
following operations.
Put the selector lever in a position other than ”R”.
Place the master switch in a position other than the present
setting.
Turn the ignition key to the ”LOCK” position.
However, the passenger’s side mirror remains down when shifting
between ”R” and ”D”repeatedly (i.e., when putting your vehicle into
the garage) within 2 minutes after the mirror is adjusted down.
NOTICE
If ice should jam the mirror, do not operate the control or scrape
the mirror face. Use a spray de icer to free the mirror.
