2 . Tur n th e ignitio n switc h O N (II ) withou t th e brak e peda l depressed .
NOTE : I f th e brak e peda l i s depresse d whe n turnin g th e ignitio n switc h O N (II) , th e syste m shift s t o th e DT C clearin g
mode .
3 . Th e AB S indicato r come s o n fo r abou t tw o second s an d goe s off . The n i t wil l indicat e th e DTC .
NOTE :
• I f th e DT C is no t memorized , th e AB S indicato r wil l g o of f fo r 3. 6 seconds , an d the n com e bac k on .
• I f th e AB S indicato r continue s on , troubleshoo t fo r "AB S indicato r doe s no t g o off " (se e pag e 19-15 ).

DTC Clearin g

1 . Connec t th e SC S servic e connecto r t o th e servic e chec k connecto r (2P ) locate d unde r th e glov e box .
2 . Depres s th e brak e pedal .
3 . Tur n th e ignitio n switc h O N (II ) whil e keepin g th e brak e peda l depressed .
4 . Afte r th e AB S indicato r goe s off , releas e th e brak e pedal .
5 . Afte r th e indicato r come s on , depres s th e brak e peda l again .
6 . Afte r th e indicato r goe s off , releas e th e brak e peda l again .
7 . Afte r a fe w seconds , th e AB S indicato r blink s twic e an d th e DT C is cleared . I f th e indicato r doe s no t blin k twice , repea t
steps 1 through 6. If the indicator stays ON after the indicator blinks twice, check the DTC because a problem was
detecte d durin g initia l diagnosi s befor e shiftin g t o DT C clearin g mode .
