tybntakaa avain kattomoottorin ve­
toakseliin ja sulkekaa katto kaanta­
malla avainta vastapaivaan.

Manual operation of sunroof EF09B -Aa
If the switch develops a malfunction and
the sunroof will not move, use the fol­lowing procedure to open and close it:
1. Take the
sunroof wrench and the screwdriver out of the tool box.
2. To remove the cover, insert the end of a screwdriver and break the pawl of the cover attachment.
NOTE
Wrap a piece
of cloth around the tip of the screwdriver in order to avoid scratching the cover.
3. Fit for long end of the sunroof wrench into the screwdriver's multi­purpose handle. Next. insert the wrench into the sunroof motor drive shaft and close the sunroof by turn­
ing the wrench anti-clockwise.

An electronically controlled front canvas sunroof also is optionally available _
& CAUTION When the ambient temperature is low (approximately 5·C or less), avoid opening and closing the canvas, as there is danger of damage to the texture.
To store
1 _ During a storm or heavy rain or when leaving the vehicle
for a long period, place a body cover to both prevent water entry and protect the canvas and vehicle body paint. 2_ For long storage periods, keep the canvas closed. If the
canvas is folded and left stored , it may wrinkle.

front canvas sunroof automatically opens completely if the right side of the front canvas sunroof switch is pressed ,
2-To close
The front canvas sunroof automatically closes if the left side of the front canvas sunroof switch is pressed ,
NOTE
1 .
When closing the front canvas sunroof, even if you con­
tinu e to press the
switch, the front canvas sunroof stops approximately 18 cm (7 in.) before fully closing, This is to
ensure that a hand or neck is not caught Release the switch and then press it again to completely close the
canvas,
2, When opening the front canvas sunroof after a rain or after washing the vehicle , water on the front canvas sunroof could fall inside the vehicle, Wipe the water from the canvas beforehand ,

(6) Varmistakaa etta ajoneuvon nopeus on vahemman kuin 80 km/h avatessanne etupeitetta. (7) Alkaa laittako matkatavaraa tai muita painavia esi­neita peitteen paaJle tai sen lahetyville.

& CAUTION (1) To avoid personal injury, keep the head and hands clear of the front canvas sunroof when it is opened or closed. (2) Do not stick head, hands or anything else out of the front canvas sunroof opening while driving the _ vehicle. (3) Do not leave the key in the" ACC" or "ON" position when a child (or other person who might be hand­icapped for safe operation of the front canvas sunroof switch) is to be left in the vehicle alone. (4) When leaving the vehicle unattended, be sure to close the front canvas sunroof and remove the ignition key. (5) After washing the vehicle or-after it has rained, wipe off any water that is on the front canvas sunroof before operating it. .
(6) Make sure that the vehicle speed is 80 km/h (50 mph) or less when opening or closing the front canvas sunroof. (7) Do not place luggage or any heavy objects on the front canvas sunroof itself, or the area round it.

Peskaa ylapuoli vedella ja pehmealla nailonharja.lla tai
vastaavalla. Peskaa
ikkunat sienella. Jollei lika ja muta nain irtoa, laimenta ­
kaa tavallista pesupulveria noin 0,1 prosenttiseksi vedella, ja
peskaa kevyesti kankaalla hangaten, ja toistakaa viela pesu
pelkalla vedella. Pesuainetta kaytettaessa on katto
huuhdeltava huolellisesti, ettei pesuainetta jaa kankaaseen , silla se va­hingoittaa kangasta, ja saattaa vieda varin.
HUOM Ruiskuttakaa vesi aina ylhaalta pain.
& VAROITUS (1) Alkaa kayttako muuta kuin tavallista pesupulveria, ja sitakin laimennettuna 0,1 prosenttiseksi. Alkaa milloinkaan kayttako alkoholia tai tinneria tai vastaavia aineita katon puhdistukseen. (2) Ala koskaan vie autoasi automaattiseen pesuun.
Cleaning the Sunroof* EK30A -A
Clean the inside of the sunroof with a soft cloth. Hard deposits should be wiped away with a cloth dipped in warm, neutral
detergent solution. Wipe away the solution with a sponge dipped in fresh water.
NOTE
The surface treatment on the inside
of the glass may be
removed if hard cloth or organic solvent (benzine , thinner, etc.) is used.
Washing the canvas top* EK02B-A.
Wash the top with water and a soft nylon brush or something similar. Wash the window sections with a sponge. If dirt or mud cannot be washed off in this way, use a 0.1 % concentration of household laundry powder in water and a cloth to scrub lightly, and then wash with plain water again. If laundry powder is used, rinse thoroughly; be sure that none of the soap remains
on the top. If soap does remain on the top, it could cause
cracking and/or discolouration.
NOTE Always sprinkle water from above .
& CAUTION (1) Do not use any type of soap or detergent other than household laundry powder, and do not use concen­trations higher than 0.1 %. Under no circumstances should alcohol. paint thinner, etc., be used.
(2)
Never use an automatic vehicle wash.
