Your Chevrolet is equipped with a
Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic
transmission. After starting the
en
gine with.the selector lever in N
(Neutral) or P (Park) position,
select the range desired (see table)
and
dt)press the a.ccelerator. A
gradual start with a steady increase
in accelerator pressure will result in
best possible fuel economy. Rapid
acceleration for fast starts
will re
sult in greater fuel consumption.
