Safety Connect
Safety Connect is a subscription-based telematics service that uses Global Positioning
System (GPS) data and embedded cellular technology to provide safety and security fea-
tures to subscribers. Safety Connect is supp orted by Lexus’ designated response center,
which operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Safety Connect service is available by subscription on select, telematics hardware-
equipped vehicles.
By using the Safety Connect service, you are agreeing to be bound by the Telematics
Subscription Service Agreement and its Terms and Conditions, as in effect and amended
from time to time, a current copy of which is available at Lexus.com. All use of the Safety
Connect service is subject to such then-applicable Terms and Conditions.

●Close all the doors and windows, and turn the power switch off.
● Confirm the type of fuel.
1Press the switch to open the fuel filler
door.
The fuel filler door will open within
about 10 seconds of the switch being
pressed. Before refueling is possible, a
message will be shown on the multi-
information display in the instrument
cluster to indicate the progress of the
fuel filler door opener.
2Turn the fuel tank cap slowly and
remove it, then put it into the holder on
the fuel filler door.
After refueling, turn the fuel tank cap until
you hear a click. Once the cap is released, it
will turn slightly in the opposite direction.

• Operate the Hands Free Power Back Door without contacting the rear
bumper with your foot.
• If another electronic key is in the cabin or luggage compartment, it
may take slightly longer than normal
for the operation to occur.
• If the buzzer sounds twice, perform a kick operation again.

power back door will automatically fully open/close.
