The Drive Mode may be selected based on the driver ’s preferences and road conditions
To cycle through the different Drive Modes A, rotate the DRIVE MODE dial B The
instrument cluster LCD will display ECO, SPORT, SMART or SNOW * mode when selected
•ECO – This mode is optimized for eco-friendly driving that increases fuel efficiency
through engine and transmission control
•SPORT – This mode provides enhanced acceleration and dynamic drivability The
electric energy efficiency may decrease in this mode
•SMART – When the SMART mode is activated, the system automatically selects
the drive mode best suited to the current driving style
•SNOW* - Press and hold the DRIVE MODE button to enter Snow Mode Snow mode
automatically changes the vehicle to 2WD (Two-wheel drive) or AWD (All-wheel drive)
depending on the road conditions

Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) uses the vehicle sensors to help park and exit parking spaces remotely from outside the vehicle by automatically searching for parking spaces and then controlling the steering wheel, transmission, and vehicle speed to park the vehicle
To park with Remote Parking (from outside the vehicle), using the Smart Key:
•While in the vehicle, with the vehicle stopped in front of the parking space, vehicle aligned, and the transmission in Park, press and hold the Parking/ View button A
•Select REMOTE on the infotainment system screen When the message UNDER REMOTE CONTROL appears, exit the
vehicle with the Smart Key on hand Ensure all doors are closed
•The emergency lights will blink to when the system is ready to be activated
•Press and hold either the Forward B or Backward C button on the Smart Key, depending on how you want to park, and the vehicle will move in the direction of whichever button you press

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA)*†4
Intelligent Speed Limit Assist is designed to use the information from the posted speed limit and the navigation system to inform the driver of the speed limit
When ISL A is on and active, the system will display an alert on the Instrument Cluster LCD of the detected speed limit If the vehicle’s current speed exceeds the detected speed limit, a warning will sound and the vehicle’s current speed will blink on the LCD
ISLA User Settings:
•To enable ISL A on, press the SETUP key/button on the Infotainment System Select the VEHICLE button to enter the Vehicle Settings Select DRIVER ASSISTANCE, SPEED LIMIT, and one of the three modes:
- Speed Limit Assist: Informs the driver of the posted speed limit, displays a message to change the speed to help the driver stay within the posted speed limit
- Speed Limit Warning: Informs the driver of the posted speed limit D and warns the driver when the vehicle is traveling faster than the posted speed limit
- Off: ISL A is disabled

You can set a speed limit offset to the posted speed limit by going to Vehicle Set tings, Driver Assistance, Speed Limit, then Speed Limit Offset Set the offset to “0” if you want the vehicle to travel at the posted speed limit when ISL A is on

REMINDERS:

When in P (Park), if the brake pedal is not pressed while shifting, the transmission does not shift
•
If going through a car wash, remind the at tendant to keep the vehicle in Neutral (N) and keep the engine running Also, disable the power liftgate lid control, turn off the auto rain sensing wipers and fold in the mirrors
•Press brake pedal and depress release but ton to move gear shift from N to P, N to R or from P to any gear
•Manual mode downshifts are made automatically when the vehicle slows down When the vehicle stops, 1st gear is automatically selected

Paddle Shifters*
Paddle Shifters are operable when the shift lever is in the Drive (D) position
Paddle Shifting: Pull the [+] or [-] paddle shifter A once to shift up or down one gear
[+]: Manual Mode Upshift
[–] : Manual Mode Downshift
To change back to automatic shift mode, pull and hold the [+] paddle shifter for at least one second
Automatic shift mode also activates when gently pressing the accelerator for more than approximately six seconds, or when the vehicle speed is slower than 2mph
