Lane Following Assist (LFA) is designed to help ensure that the vehicle stays centered in its lane A by monitoring the detected lane markings ahead and adjusting the steering The instrument cluster indicator will initially illuminate white or green when turned ON It will remain white when LFA does not detect the lane markers When LFA detects the lane markers and can assist the steering, the LFA icon will illuminate green B
Hands-off Warning - If the driver takes their hands off the Steering Wheel for several seconds, a warning message will appear on the Instrument Cluster If hands on the Steering Wheel are not detected continually, LFA will be turned off with additional emergency warning
LFA Settings:
Press the Lane Driving Assist button C to turn LFA on or off
LFA will operate only when these conditions are met:

Highway Driving Assist (HDA) Video

Highway Driving Assist (HDA) is designed to help detect vehicles and lanes ahead, and help maintain distance from the vehicle ahead, maintain the set speed, and keep the vehicle between lanes while driving on the highway (or motorway)
When HDA is activated and the conditions are met, the Instrument Cluster indicator A will illuminate green If the conditions are not met, HDA will be in standby mode and the indicator light A will illuminate white When in operation, and if both lanes are recognized, the Instrument Cluster will show the lanes illuminated white and the HDA indicator illuminated green A
Hands-off Warning - If the driver takes their hands off the Steering Wheel for several seconds, a warning message will appear on the Instrument Cluster, and an audible warning will sound If hands on the Steering Wheel is not detected, HDA will cancel
HDA settings:
•HDA can be turned on/off by going to the Vehicle Settings* in the Infotainment System

Surround View Monitor (SVM) is a parking support system that shows the areas around the front, rear, left and right sides of the vehicle via four wide-view cameras displayed onto the infotainment system screen

Press A to turn SVM ON/OFF
SVM will operate when:
•The Parking/ View button A is pressed with the gear in D (Drive) or N (Neutral) when vehicle speed is below 9 mph (15 km/h)
•Parking/ View button A is pressed with the gear in P (Park)
•The gear shift is in R (Reverse) When the gear is in R (Reverse), Surround View Monitor will turn ON regardless of vehicle speed or button status
•The gear shift is changed from R (Reverse) to N (Neutral) or D (Drive) when vehicle speed is below 9 mph (15 km/h)
Off Conditions:
•Parking/ View button A is depressed
•When vehicle speed is above 9 mph (15 km/h), SVM will turn off and the screen will change back to the previous infotainment system screen
•One of the infotainment system buttons is pressed without the gear in R (Reverse) The screen will change back to the previous infotainment system screen
The Surround View Monitoring (SVM) is only a supplemental device Drivers should not rely solely on the SVM information when parking and backing up Drivers should always pay at tention and directly check the left/right and rear

When more than t wo objects are sensed at the same time, the closest one will be recognized first
Forward/Reverse Parking Distance Warning (PDW) is a supplemental system that is designed to assist the driver by chiming if any object is detected within the sensing area to the front, rear and side of the vehicle when backing up
To turn PDW on, press the Parking Safety button A (LED illuminated) To turn PDW off, press again A (LED not illuminated)
PDW will activate when the ignition is on/ready and the vehicle is in D (Drive) or R (Reverse)
Parking Distance Warning Auto On – To set the parking distance warning to be on at low speeds, enable it in the User Settings* in the Instrument Cluster or the Vehicle Settings* in the infotainment system
To enable in User settings* in the Instrument Cluster - Press the Mode button B on the Steering Wheel to toggle to User Settings Press the OK button C up/down to toggle to DRIVER ASSISTANCE, then PARKING SAFETY, and select PARKING DISTANCE WARNING AUTO ON

To lift the windshield wipers to clean windshield, inspect or replace wiper blades or raise wipers in snow/ice conditions without damaging the hood, the blades need to be moved to the service position F to prevent damaging the hood
With the ignition ON, turn the ignition OFF, and within 20 seconds move the wiper switch B to the MIST position and hold the switch for more than two seconds until the wiper blade is in the fully up position
To return wipers to normal position, turn the ignition ON, then activate MIST
