Engine Oil Pressure Warning
Light
This warning light illuminates:
When the engine oil pressure is low.
If the engine oil pressure is low:
1. Drive carefully to the nearest safe loca
tion and stop your vehicle.
2. Turn the engine off and check the engine oil level (For more information,
refer to "Engine Oil" in chapter 9). If
the level is low, add oil as required.
If the warning light remains on after
adding oil or if oil is not available, have
the vehicle inspected by an authorized
HYUNDAI dealer as soon as possible.
Continued driving with the warning
light on may cause engine failure.
NOTICE
If the engine is not stopped
immediately after the Engine Oil
Pressure warning light is illuminated,
severe damage could result.
Engine coolant temperature
warning light (if equipped)
The warning light illuminates:
When the temperature of the engine
coolant is e
xtremely high.
Do not continue driving with an
overheated engine. If your vehicle
overheats, refer to “Overheating” section
in chapter 8.
NOTICE
If the Engine Coolant Temperature
warning light illuminates, it indicates
overheating that may damage the
engine.
Low fuel level warning light
This warning light illuminates:
When the fuel tank is nearly empty.
A
dd fuel as soon as possible.
NOTICE
Driving with the Low Fuel Level warning
light on or with the fuel level below
“E (Empty)” can cause the engine
to misfire and damage the catalytic
converter.

WARNING
Vehicles equipped with R-1234yf
Since the refrigerant
is operated at very
high pressure, the air
conditioning system should
only be serviced by trained
and certified technicians.
It is important that the correct type and
amount of oil and refrigerant are used.
All refrigerants should be reclaimed
with proper equipment.
Venting refrigerants directly to the
atmosphere is harmful to individuals

Air Conditioning refrigerant label
You can find out which air conditioning
r
efrigerant is applied to your vehicle
on the label located in front of engine
compartment.
B0206KO02
Each symbol and specification on the
air conditioning refrigerant label is
represented as below:
M Classification of refrigerant
N Amount of refrigerant
O Classification of compressor lubricant
P Caution
Q Flammable refrigerant
R To require registered technician to service air conditioning system

Checking the amount of air
conditioner refrigerant and
compressor lubricant
When the amount of refrigerant is low,
the performance of the air conditioning
is reduced. Overfilling also reduces the
performance of the air conditioning
system.
Therefore, if abnormal operation is
found, have the system inspected by an
authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
NOTICE
It is important that the correct type and
amount of oil and refrigerant is used.
Otherwise, damage to the compressor
and abnormal system operation may
occur. To prevent damage, the air
conditioning system in your vehicle
should only be serviced by trained and
certified technicians.
NOTICE
[ The refrigerant system should only
be serviced by trained and certified
technicians to insure proper and safe
operation.
[ The refrigerant system should be
serviced in a well-ventilated place.
[ The air conditioning evaporator
(cooling coil) shall never be repaired
or replaced with one removed from
a used or salvaged vehicle and new
replacement MAC evaporators shall
be certified (and labeled) as meeting
SAE Standard J2842.
