1 Change the fluid every 500 mi (800 km) or when a message appears in the informationdisplay stating that the axle fluid is over temperature.
Timing Chain
If you use your vehicle extensively at a racetrack or at high rpm, it is possible to exceedthe service life of the engine timing chain.A wrench indicator light illuminates whenit is time for you to replace your chain.Have your vehicle checked as soon aspossible.
Adjustable Camber Front StrutTop Mounts (If Equipped)
Your vehicle has adjustable strut mountswhich you can use to adjust the camber ofyour vehicle before and after a track eventto the specifications listed in the RoadCourse Alignment Recommendations tablepreviously shown.
Note:After your track day is complete, return your car to the street alignment andtire pressures.
Aerodynamics (If Equipped)
Adjustable Rear Wing
The rear wing generates aerodynamicdown-force at speeds greater than 50 mph(80 km/h).
Regularly inspect the rear wing panel andattachment points for damage orlooseness.
You can adjust the wing using the holepattern at the top of the stanchion.
Moving the wing up increases rear downforce and overall understeer. Moving thewing down decreases the rear down forceand overall understeer.

How to Burnish the Brakes
Initial low temperature bedding:
•If your brakes already have 200 mi(322 km) or more of city driving, skipthis step and go directly to the hightemperature bedding cycle procedure.Otherwise, perform at least 30 stopsfrom 50 mph (80 km/h) at 1/3 gdeceleration with 1 mi (1.2 km) spacingbetween stops. A deceleration gaugecan be accessed through theTrackApps menu in your instrumentdisplay.
High temperature bedding cycle:
•Beginning with cool brakes, perform 15consecutive stops back to back, accelerating at 3/4 throttle to 80 mph(128 km/h) and braking to 20 mph(32 km/h) at 1.0 g deceleration. Thebrakes may omit an odor or smokeduring this part of the procedure.
Cool down:
•Cool the brakes down by driving one ortwo laps,5 mi (8 km), at 60 mph(96 km/h) with minimal to no brakeusage.
Recovery low temperature bedding:
•Perform at least 30 stops from 50 mph(80 km/h) at 13 g deceleration with0.7 mi (1.2 km) spacing between stops.A deceleration gauge can be accessedthrough the TrackApps menu in theinstrument cluster display.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The recommended tire inflation pressuresare on the tire information label on thedriver side B-pillar.
Check and set the tire pressure at theambient temperature in which you areintending to drive your vehicle and whenthe tires are cold.
Note:Check your tire pressures regularly tooptimize fuel economy.
Only use approved wheel and tire sizes.Using other sizes could damage yourvehicle and could make the National TypeApproval invalid.
Installation of any tires that are not theoriginal equipment tire size can cause thespeedometer to display incorrect vehiclespeed.
TIRE SEALANT AND INFLATOR
KIT (IF EQUIPPED)
Note:The temporary mobility kit containsenough sealant compound in the canisterfor one tire repair only. See your authorizeddealer for replacement sealant canisters.
The kit is under the load floor in the cargoarea. The kit consists of an air compressorto re-inflate the tire and a canister ofsealing compound that effectively sealsmost punctures caused by nails or similarobjects. This kit provides a temporary tirerepair, allowing you to drive your vehicleup to 120 mi (200 km) at a maximumspeed of 50 mph (80 km/h) to reach a tireservice location.

The tire pressure monitoring systemmeasures pressure in your road tires andsends the tire pressure readings to yourvehicle. You can view the tire pressurereadings through the information display.See General Information (page 98).Thelow tire pressure warning light will turn onif the tire pressure is significantly low. Oncethe light is illuminated, your tires areunder-inflated and need to be inflated tothe manufacturer’s recommended tirepressure. Even if the light turns on and ashort time later turns off, your tire pressurestill needs to be checked.
When Your Temporary Spare Tire isInstalled
When one of your road tires needs to bereplaced with the temporary spare, thesystem will continue to identify an issue toremind you that the damaged road wheeland tire assembly needs to be repaired andput back on your vehicle.
To restore the full function of the tirepressure monitoring system, have thedamaged road wheel and tire assemblyrepaired and remounted on your vehicle.
When You Believe Your System is NotOperating Properly
The main function of the tire pressuremonitoring system is to warn you whenyour tires need air. It can also warn you inthe event the system is no longer capableof functioning as intended. See thefollowing chart for information concerningyour tire pressure monitoring system:
