Installing the Head Restraint
Align the steel stems into the guide sleevesand push the head restraint down until itlocks.
Tilting the Front Seat HeadRestraint (If Equipped)
The front head restraint tilts for extracomfort. To tilt the head restraint, do thefollowing:
1.Adjust the seat backrest to an uprightdriving or riding position.
2.Pivot the head restraint forward towardyour head to the desired position.
After the head restraint reaches theforward-most tilt position, pivot it forwardagain to release it to the rearward, un-tiltedposition.
Rear Seat Outermost Head Restraint
The head restraint consists of:
An energy absorbing headrestraint.A
Two steel stems.B
Guide sleeve unlock and removebutton.C
Fold button (if equipped).D
Removing the Head Restraint
1.Pull the head restraint up until itreaches its highest position.
2.Press and hold both C buttons.
3.Pull the head restraint up.
Installing the Head Restraint
Align the steel stems into the guide sleevesand push the head restraint down until itlocks.
Folding the Head Restraint
1.Press and hold button D.
2.Pull the head restraint back up to reset.

REAR SEATS
Folding the Seat Backrest
WARNING: Do not drive yourvehicle with a seat that is unlatched orin the folded position. Failure to followthis instruction could result in personalinjury or death in the event of a suddenstop or crash.
WARNING: Do not fold a seat if itis occupied. Failure to follow thisinstruction could result in personal injury.
WARNING: To prevent possibledamage to the seat or seatbelts, makesure that the seatbelts are not fastenedbefore folding the seatback.
1.Before folding the seat backrest, stowthe seatbelt in the stowage clip. Thisprevents the seatbelt from gettingcaught in the seat latch.
2.Fold the outermost head restraints andpull the center head restraint up to thefirst locked position. See HeadRestraints (page 141).
Note:If you have head restraints that donot fold, move the front seats forward toavoid interference between the front andrear seats. This allows the rear seat backrestto be properly folded.
3.Press the button at the top of the seatbackrest.
4.Push the seat backrest forward.

5.If you have folding head restraints,make sure they do not interfere withthe seat cushion when folded. Thisallows the seat backrest to be properlystowed.
Unfolding the Seat Backrest
WARNING: Do not place cargo orany objects behind the seat backrestbefore returning it to the original position.Pull on the seat backrest to make surethat it has fully latched after returningthe seat backrest to its original position.An unlatched seat may becomedangerous if you stop suddenly or havea crash.
WARNING: When unfolding theseat backrests, make sure that theseatbelts are not trapped behind theseat.
WARNING: When folding orunfolding the seats, take care not to getyour fingers caught between the seatbackrest and seat frame. Failure tofollow this warning could result in seriouspersonal injury.
Pull the seat backrest up to unfold it. Whenraising the seat backrest, make sure theseat latch engages.
HEATED SEATS (IF EQUIPPED)
WARNING: Use caution when usingthe heated seat if you are unable to feelpain to your skin because of advancedage, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cordinjury, medication, alcohol use,exhaustion or other physical conditions.The heated seat could cause burns evenat low temperatures, especially if usedfor long periods of time. Failure to followthis instruction could result in personalinjury.
WARNING: Do not place anythingon the seat that blocks the heat, forexample a seat cover or a cushion. Thiscould cause the seat to overheat. Failureto follow this instruction could result inpersonal injury.
WARNING: Do not poke sharpobjects into the seat cushion or seatbackrest. This could damage the heatedseat element and cause it to overheat.Failure to follow this instruction couldresult in personal injury.
Do not:
•Place heavy objects on the seat.
•Operate the heated seat if water or anyother liquid spills on the seat. Allow theseat to dry thoroughly.
The engine must be running to use thisfeature.

Full Shelf Position
1.Slide the luggage compartment divideronto the tracks on each side of thevehicle.
2.Align the triangles on the latches andturn to lock the shelf into place.
Note:Do not use the shelf as a seat.
Note:The maximum weight you can placeon the shelf is 29 lb (13 kg).
Note:Store or fold the shelf when the fullshelf is not being used.
Folded Shelf Position
Fold the luggage compartment divider.
Note:The luggage compartment dividermust be locked in place in the full shelfposition before folding.
Note:Do not use the shelf as a seat.
Note:The maximum weight you can placeon the shelf is 29 lb (13 kg).
Note:We recommend using this positionto avoid noise when driving when the shelfis empty.
Table Position
1.Slide the luggage compartment dividerto the first locking position.
2.Align the triangles and turn the latchesto lock into place.
3.Pull the table legs down and lock intoplace on the bumper.
Note:The full shelf must be locked in thefirst locking position before the table legsare deployed.
Note:The maximum weight you can placeon the shelf is 29 lb (13 kg).
