Front demist – defrost
With manual air conditioning
F Put the temperature, air flow and distribution controls to the
dedicated marked position.
F

ut the air intake control to the "Exterior air
intake" position (control indicator lamp off).
F

S
witch on the air conditioning
by pressing the " A/C" button;
the indicator lamp in the button
comes on.
With automatic dual-zone air
conditioning
Automatic visibility programme
F Select this programme to demist or defrost the windscreen and
side windows as quickly as
possible.
With Stop & Start, when demisting/
defrosting has been activated, STOP
mode is not available.
The system automatically manages the air
conditioning, air flow and air intake, and provides
optimum distribution towards the windscreen and
side windows.
F
T
o stop the programme, press either the
visibility button again or " AUTO"; the
indicator lamp in the button goes off and the
indicator lamp in the " AUTO" button comes on.
The system starts again with the values in
use before it was overridden by the visibility
programme.
F It is possible to stop the demisting/defrosting operation
before it is switched off
automatically by pressing the
button again. The indicator lamp
in the button goes out.
Rear screen demist –
defrost
Switching on
Demisting – defrosting of the rear screen can
only function when the engine is running.
Switching off
Demisting/defrosting switches off automatically
to prevent an excessive consumption of current.
F Press this button to demist /defrost the rear screen and
(depending on version) the door
mirrors. The indicator lamp in
the button comes on.
These markings on the control panel
indicate the control positions for
rapid demisting or defrosting of the
windscreen and side windows.
With Stop & Start, when the demisting/
defrosting, air conditioning and air flow
functions are activated, STOP mode is not
available. The control button is located on
the air conditioning system control
panel.

F Switch off the demisting/defrosting of the rear screen and door mirrors
as soon as appropriate, as lower
current consumption reduces fuel
consumption.
Panoramic windscreen
A tinted glass panoramic windscreen that
increases brightness and vision in the cabin.
Fitted on each side with a blind to improve
temperature control and a sun visor to avoid
dazzle.
Blind
F To open the blind, pull it by its central grip to the desired position.
F

o close the blind, pull it for ward by its
central grip then guide it to the desired
position.
The sun visor must be in the folded position
before moving the blind.
Sun visor
Fitted with a vanity mirror and ticket holder.
Do not attach or hang heavy objects on
the blinds or their slide rails.

ower the sun visor to avoid dazzle from the
front.
F

D
isengage the sun visor from its central
fixing and turn it towards the window to
avoid dazzle from the side.

Front fittings
Illuminated glove box
It has dedicated locations for storing a water
bottle, the vehicle's handbook pack...
Its lid has locations for storing a pen, a pair of
glasses, tokens, maps, a cup...

o open the glove box, raise the handle.
The glove box is illuminated when the lid is
opened. It houses the front passenger airbag
deactivation switch A
.Mats
Fitting
When fitting the mats for the first time, on the
driver's side use only the fixings provided in the
wallet attached.
The other mats are simply placed on the
carpet.
Removing
To remove the mat on the driver's side:

m ove the seat as far back as possible,

clip the fixings,

emove the mat.
Refitting
To refit it on the driver's side:
F p osition the mat correctly,

ut on the fixings again by pressing,

heck that the mat is secured correctly.

To avoid any risk of jamming of the pedals:
- o nly use mats which are suited to the
fixings already present in the vehicle;
these fixings must be used,
-

n
ever place one mat on top of another.
The use of unapproved mats may inter fere
with access to the pedals and hinder the
operation of the cruise control/speed
limiter.
The approved mats have two fixings
located below the seat.
Cigar lighter/12 V accessory
s o c ket (s)
F To use a 12 V accessory (max power: 120 W), remove the cigar lighter and
connect a suitable adaptor.
You can use this socket to connect a telephone
charger, a bottle warmer, etc.
After use, put the cigar lighter
back into place
straight away.

o use the cigar lighter, press it in and wait a
few seconds until it pops out automatically. The connection of an unapproved
electrical device, such as a USB charger,
may adversely affect the operation of
vehicle electrical systems, causing faults
such as poor telephone reception or
interference with displays in the screens.
USB player
This connection box comprises a USB port and
a Jack auxiliary socket.
USB port
The USB port allows the connection of a
portable device, such as an iPod®-type digital
audio player, or a USB memory stick.
The USB reader reads your audio files which
are then transferred to the audio system and
played via the vehicle’s speakers.
These files are managed via the steering wheel
controls or from the audio system.
When connected to the USB port,
the portable device can be charged
automatically.
While charging, a message is displayed
if the power consumption of the portable
device exceeds the amperage supplied by
the vehicle.
The USB also allows a telephone to be
connected by a MirrorLink™ connection, so
that use can be made in the touch screen tablet
of certain applications on the telephone.
Jack auxiliary socket
The Jack auxiliary socket allows the connection
of a portable device, such as a digital audio
player, so that your audio files can be played
through the vehicle's speakers.
These files are managed from the portable
device.

In this position, the courtesy
lamp comes on gradually:

hen the remote control locking button is
activated, in order to locate your vehicle.
It switches off gradually:

hen the vehicle is locked,

Permanent lighting.
In "permanent lighting" mode, the lighting time varies
according to the circumstances:

hen the ignition is off, approximately ten minutes,

n energy saving mode, approximately thirty

ith the engine running, unlimited.
When the courtesy lamp is in the
"permanent lighting" position, the rear
courtesy lamp also comes on, except if it
is in the "permanently off " position.
To switch off the rear courtesy lamp, put it
in the "permanently off " position.
Front and rear map reading
lamps
F With the ignition on, operate the corresponding switch.
Take care not to put anything in contact
with the courtesy lamps.

Interior mood lighting
The dimmed passenger compartment lighting
improves visibility in the vehicle when the light
i s p o o r.
Switching on
At night, the audio system and automatic
air conditioning illumination, together with
the illumination of the central dashboard
storage box, come on automatically when the
sidelamps are on.On certain versions, three LEDs, located in the
rail linking the rear view mirror to the roof come
on as well.
Switching off
The mood lighting switches off automatically
when the sidelamps are switched off.
It can be switched off manually by adjusting the
instrument panel lighting dimmer button to one
of the lowest settings.

The height and length of the armrest cover can
be adjusted.
Adjusting the height
F Raise the cover to the required position
(low, intermediate or high).

f you raise the cover slightly beyond the
high position, guide it when lowering it to the
low position.
Longitudinal adjustment
F Slide the cover fully for wards or rear wards.

Storage
There is a storage space below the armrest
cover. Depending on equipment, it may contain
a 230 V/50 Hz socket and the back-up reader
for the electronic key of the Keyless Entry and
Starting system.F

Comfort and storage system for the driver and
front passenger.
The length of the armrest cover can be
adjusted.
Longitudinal adjustment
F To move for wards, raise the lever. The armrest slides for wards to its stop.

o stow it, slide it fully back and press down
to lock.
Storage
There is a storage space below the armrest
cover. Depending on equipment, it may contain
the back-up reader for the electronic key of the
Keyless Entry and Starting system. F

aise the cover fully.
230 V/50 Hz socket.
A 230 V/50 Hz socket (max. power: 120 W) is
installed in the centre console.
