Tr a1c Sign Assist also uses data from the digital
street map in the navigation system. When you
lea veor enter a municipality or change roads, on
a mo torw ay ex it or slip road fore xamp le, or aTer

display can thus be updated without a tra1c sign
having been de tected.
Depending on vehicle equipment and countr y,the
system can also display speed restrictions ahead
in the driver's display and in the head-up displa y.
The driver's display can also sh owthe distance to
an upcoming lo wer limit speed. Forth is purpose,
information from the digital road map of the navi-
ga tion system is used. The Assistancemenu can also display a dynamic visualisation of
the speed
limits ahead.
If Tra1c Sign Assist cann otdeterm ine the cur-
re ntly applicable maximum permissible speed
(e.g. due tomissing signs), thefo llowing display
appears in the driver's displa y: Tr

Assist is not suppor ted, this is displa yed continu-
