The dis tance between the trailer hitch and thero ad
sur face on an unladen vehicle depends on the
ve hicle type and theve hicle's equipment. Thus, it
cann otbe speci/ed. The distance tothero ad sur-
fa ce of a laden vehicle is between 350 mm and
420 mm. T

towing a trailer, the permissible gross vehi-
cle weight is increased by100 kg forve hicles with
passen gerve hicle appr oval. The maximum permis-
sible rear axle load may be exceeded by150 kg
when towing a trailer.
The road speed of theve hicle must be limi tedto a
maximum of 100 km/h in accordance with Direc-
tive 92/21/EEC.
