Four
radar
sensors
in
the
bumpers
monitor
the
space
next
to
the
vehicle
from
a
minimum
speed
of
up
to
approx.

km/h.
The
minimum
speed
is
country-specific
and
is
displayed
in
the
menu
for
the
intelligent
Safety
systems.
The
front
camera
determines
the
lane
marking
positions.
If,
for
instance,
another
vehicle
is
detected
next to
the
vehicle
and
if
there
is
a
risk
of
collision
with
this
vehicle,
the
system
helps
avoid
the
collision.
For
this
purpose,
the
system
issues
a
warning
with
a
flashing
LED
in
the
exterior
mirror
and
a
vi#j
brating
steering
wheel.
If
necessary,
the
system
will
carry
out
an
active
steering
intervention.
