Depending
on
the
situation,
the
vehicle
is
in
one
of
the
three
states:

Idle
state
Concept
When
the
vehicle
is
in
idle
state,
it
is
switched
off.
All
power
consumers
are
deactivated.
General
information The
vehicle
is
in
idle
state
prior
to
opening
from
the
outside
and
after
exiting
and
locking.
Safety
information
Warning
An
unsecured
vehicle
can
begin
to
move
and
possibly
roll
away.
There
is
a
risk
of
accident.
Before
exiting,
secure
the
vehicle
against
roll#j
ing.
In
order
to
ensure
that
the
vehicle
is
secured against
rolling
away,
follow
the
following:
'xSet
the
parking
brake.'xOn
uphill
grades
or
on
a
downhill
slope,
turn
the
front
wheels
in
the
direction
of
the
curb.'xOn
uphill
grades
or
on
a
downhill
slope,
also
secure
the
vehicle,
for
instance
with
a
wheel
chock.
Warning
Unattended
children
or
animals
in
the
vehicle
can
cause
the
vehicle
to
move
and
endanger themselves
and
traffic,

instance
due
to
the

standby
state

switched

while
the
vehicle

stationary.
Desired
settings

The

opened
from
the
outside.
Display
in
the

The
drivetrain
is switched
off
and
standby
state
switched
on.
Drive-ready
state
Concept
The
following
are
the
different
drive-ready
state
variants:
'xElectric
drive-ready
state.
The
vehicle
is
powered
by
the
electric
motor.'xStarting

combustion
engine.
The
vehicle
is
powered
by
the
combustion
engine.
Safety
information
DANGER
If
the
exhaust
pipe
is
blocked
or
ventilation
is

sufficient,
harmful
exhaust
gases
can
enter
into the
vehicle.
The
exhaust
gases
contain
pollu#j
tants
which
are
colorless
and
odorless.
In

closed
areas,
exhaust
gases
can
also
accumu#j
late
outside
of
the
vehicle.
There
is
danger
to
life.
Keep
the
exhaust
pipe
free
and
ensure

ficient
ventilation.
Warning
When
driving
in
electric
mode,
pedestrians
and other
traffic
might
pay
less
attention
to
the

due

the
lack

engine
