run-flat
tires

a
flat
tire
kit,
a
wheel
does
not
always

changed

tools
for
changing
wheels
are available
as
accessories
from
a
dealer#ss
service
center
or
another
qualified
service
center
or

pair
shop.

jack
is
only
provided

short-term lifting
of
the
vehicle
for
wheel
changes.
Even
if
all
safety
measures
are
observed,
there

the
raised

wheel
chocks
or
other
suitable
objects
in
front
and
behind
the
wheel
that
is
diagonal
to
the wheel
to
be
changed.
On
a
slight
downhill
gradient
If
you
need
to
change
a
wheel
on
a
slight
down#j
hill
grade,
place
chocks
and
other
suitable
ob#j
jects,
for
instance
rocks,
under
the
wheels
of
both
the
front
and
rear
axles
against
the
rolling
direction.

bolt
lock

wheel
lug
bolts
have
a
special
coding.
The
lug
bolts
can
only
be
released
with
the
adapter
which
matches
the
coding.

lug
bolt
lock
is

onboard
vehicle
tool
kit
or
in
a
storage
compartment
close
to
the
onboard
vehicle
tool

Mounting

wheel
Mount
one
emergency
wheel
only,
as
required.1.Unscrew
the
lug
bolts.2.Remove
the
wheel.3.Put
the
new
wheel
or
emergency
wheel
on and
screw
in
at
least
two
lug
bolts
in
a
cross#jwise
pattern
until
hand-tight.
If
non-original
light-alloy
wheels
of
the
vehicle
manufacturer
are
mounted,
the
accompany#j
ing
lug
bolts
may
have
to
be
used
as
well.4.Hand-tighten
the
remaining
lug
bolts
and
tighten
all
lug
bolts
well
in
a
crosswise

vehicle

crank
counterclockwise

retract

jack
and
lower

cle.6.Remove
the
vehicle
jack
and
stow
it

Concept
In

a
flat
tire,
the
emergency
wheel

used

place

defective
tire/wheel has
been
replaced.
