Notes on climate control
An interior airfilter must always be used sothatthe air conditioning system, pollution level moni‐toring andthe airfiltering functionworkcor‐rectly. Makesurethatthefilter is installed cor‐rectly andthefilter housing inthe engine com‐partment is closed correctly usingthe cap andalways tightly sealed when in operation. Usefil‐tersrecommended and approvedbyMercedes-Benz. Always haveserviceworkcarried out at aqualified specialistworkshop.

Switchingresidual heat on/off inthe frontcompartment
Requirements:RThevehicle is parked.
It is possibletomake use oftheresidual heatfromthe enginetocontinue heating orventilat‐ingthe front compartment ofthevehicleforapproximately 30 minutes, depending onthetemperature set.

Toswitch on:presstheor Vbut‐ton.
Residual heat will be switched off automatically.
Switchingresidual heat on/off intherearpassenger compartment
Requirements:RThevehicle is parked.
Whentheresidual heat ofthe engine is activatedintherear passenger compartment,you can
heat orventilatethe front andrear compart‐mentsfor approximately15minutes.
